Disney Programs Suspended Due to COVID-19 Causing Chaos and Sadness
UPDATE: Disney is allowing Disney College Program participants to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They have been blocked out, along with Disney Cast Members, until April.
Disney is temporarily suspending the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program, Disney Cultural Exchange Program and Disney Academic Exchange Program effective March 16th. This also includes International Cast Members in Guest Relations.
They are instructed to collect their belongings and depart the campus by March 18th at 11am. Cast Members will be paid through the end of March and weekly housing deductions will be waived, effective immediately.
We saw people reporting Cast Members sobbing in the parks as the news broke.
It is also being reported that Cast Members are leaving their posts at Epcot and just walking out.
We will do our best to keep up with these events. Make sure you follow us on Twitter.
These are tough times. Please try to keep the Cast Members in mind and know that they are going through a difficult time.

What does that mean? They just lost their jobs and now they’re putting them on a plane home?
