I’ve asked this before, but we have quite a few new friends now so I’ll ask again. :D

Which parks have you been to? It seems that many of us are WDW veterans with a few DL vets sprinkled in and some other parks here and there.
For me, I’ve ONLY been to Disneyland. I live about 70 miles north so it’s pretty local for me.

Let me know, where have you been?

We’ve been to WDW 6-7 times and DL once. My wife found a really good deal on flights out of DEN to LAX a few years ago so we went out to Colorado Spring to visit her sister and told the kids we were going to go to another place up around Denver. We surprised the kids by going to the airport and catching a flight to CA. They were very surprised and excited! It was a fun trip. Two things really surprised me after going to WDW several times. First, how small the castle was and then how close together everything was. We were used to the larger experience at WDW.

I’ve been to WDW more than 20 times. I lost count a few years ago. I have never been to any other Disney parks, but if I could I would love to go to Tokyo Disneyland. It looks amazing from videos I’ve seen. We now drive to Florida (about 10 hours) when we go, but we have flown many times and taken the train a couple times. I just love traveling, and WDW is my favorite vacation spot.

I’ve been to WDW 15 times, Disneyland twice and Aulani once. I know Aulani isn’t a park, but it’s still an amazing destination that everyone should definitely visit! I’m actually going to WDW the last week and of November, and I’m probably going to Disneyland the week of Christmas! If I’m on vacation, it’s at a Disney park! I can’t even remember the last vacation I took elsewhere! :)

I’ve only ever been to WDW world and only five times (for multiple weeks each time, so perhaps about 60-70 days in total across the parks). Had the pleasure of visiting all the current parks plus Discovery Island. Unfortunately i live approx 4,500 miles from WDW so its very not local to me and normally involves a 9-10 hour flight to pay a visit. I do hope one day to make it to Disneyland one day, as well as Tokyo Disney would be good too, for some reason I’ve just never been interested in EuroDisney.

That’s what I’ve heard. Since I’ve never been to WDW I’m sure I will feel overwhelmed at how big everything is and spread out. Disneyland unfortunately doesn’t have nearly as much land :( I mean, we lost our giant parking lot and campground to DCA when they built that. And now the DTD parking is becoming a hotel and our parking structure is going to be bigger than it already is!

WDW many times with another trip starting on Monday…. Disneyland twice. Disneyland Paris once. Aulani twice. Disney Cruise line 8 times.
With that said, we noticed that Disneyland has very good cast members and we think the food is better especially the quick service restaurants. It is the park that Walt himself walked through… no place else can claim that.
Disneyland Paris was, well, a world of its own… we weren’t very comfortable there and did not stay a full day. Thank God we did not focus that trip on Disneyland but our focus was Paris itself… it was enjoyable.

@bexruns, If you ever go to WDW (face it, you will someday; it’s irresistible!) be prepared to walk A LOT more than you’re used to ad DL. We liked DL from that aspect but I prefer WDW overall. Everything is more spread out in WDW. It’s nice in that it doesn’t seem as cramped but I think the crowd levels are higher which kind of mitigates that feeling. And, you don’t have Spaceship Earth at DL! :P
