We love Riverside and have stayed there our last four trips. I was just looking for our next trip and thinking of maybe trying somewhere new. What do you all recommend in about the same price range? I end up getting two rooms as my kids are teens and we need two bathrooms. I would love to hear what you all think? Thank you!

I’ve stayed at CBR once before and have another trip to CBR coming up in Dec. They are undergoing a refurb but overall I like the very relaxed feel of the resort.

When are you going? Right now the moderate scene is rough with major construction going on at Coronado and Caribbean Beach. I personally wouldn’t want my first experience with a resort to be while they’re undergoing major changes, but that’s just me. So for moderates that leaves you with French Quarter (which I personally love) and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness (which doesn’t seem to fit with what you need). You might want to check how moderate prices compare to some of the cheaper deluxes, especially when there’s promos or discounts floating around. I know friends that have stayed at OKW or AKL for not much more than POR because of the way the discounts shook out. And Animal Kingdom Lodge is probably my favorite place ever

I love the Moderate Resorts, and have had the pleasure of staying at all 4 of them. Personally my hands down, absolute favorite is Coronado Springs Resort  because it is literally:
Gorgeous (the landscaping and buildings with Spanish and Mexican themes)
Relaxing (hammocks on the white sand beaches)
Comfortable (rooms are not in your face Disney, but more of a Deluxe Resort theme)
    Fun (the pool is amazing!!)
Affordable (the price is comparable to all Moderates, but is a Deluxe vibe)

I do agree with @kcboston ‘s comment about the construction going on at the Moderates right now. However, if your visit is planned for next year or after, I’m sure a lot of that will be completed by then!

Have you checked out the suites at Art of Animation? Those look really fun and have 2 bathrooms.

I agree with the ladies above and echo checking out Art of Animation if you are so inclined. They are a little higher on the price range but with the right discount could be worth a look, and they have two bathrooms like Aimee said. POFQ is our favorite also so I would throw a vote that way of course.

What if I splurged and did one of the cheaper deluxe? I just saw The Beach Club? I love EPCOT its my favorite park. I should have said our time, we are looking towards the end of January beginning of February, not locked into exact dates yet that is open. We like a winter getaway from the cold snowy north! Thank you!!!!!!

You could also consider renting DVC points and using those for a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom villa. The 1-bedrooms in Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village and Bay Lake Tower all have 2 full bathrooms, so those might be a good option for you!

While I have never personally stayed at the Beach Club, it does look absolutely wonderful. Sometimes Disney offers amazing discount codes or discount offers on Deluxe resorts that I’ve seen as high as 40% off. If you could score a discount like that, it would be awesome!

We LOVE the Boardwalk area…. which includes Yacth and Beach Club. We have stayed at the Yacth club but not the Beach club (yet). You cannot go wrong with any of these three hotels. We like the fact that we can walk to two different parks. Accessing EPCOT through International Gateway is a breeze. The most crowded we have seen that entrance is peak season when Illuminations is about to begin.

If you can swing the cost, I highly recommend these hotels.
