Bahama Mama from DCL
1/2 oz white rum
1/2 oz Meyers rum
1/2 oz creme de banana
1/2 oz Malibu rum
2 oz orange juice
2 oz pineapple juice
dash grenadine
Procedure
1 Mix all ingredients together.

Konk Cooler from Castaway Cay/DCL
3 fl oz light rum (Suggestion – Malibu or Parrot Bay)
3 fl oz dark rum (Suggestion – Cruzan Black Strap)
4 fl oz orange juice
8 fl oz cream of coconut (Suggestion – Coco Casa)
6 fl oz passion fruit juice concentrate (Suggestion – Welches)
3/8 cup ice
Procedure
1 Mix in blender until slushy.

Mint Julep
1 cup sugar
3 tsp lime juice concentrate
3 cups soda water
6 tbsp crème de menthe
6 oz thawed lemonade concentrate
Procedure
1 Dissolve sugar into soda water. Add lime juice and lemonade and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add Crème de Menthe. Chill. To serve, combine 3 parts syrup to 5 parts water.

Florida Iced Tea
3/4 fl oz vodka
1/4 fl oz gin
1/4 fl oz rum
1/4 fl oz triple sec
orange juice to fill
1 splash grenadine
1 splash Sprite
Procedure
1 In a shaker, blend all ingredients. Shake well and serve over ice.

Green Gator Cocktail from House of Blues
1 1/2 fl oz Midori Melon Liqueur
1/2 fl oz coconut rum
pineapple juice
Procedure
1 Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in alcohol, fill the rest of the way with pineapple juice, mix and enjoy! They serve the drink with a plastic glow-stick as a swizzle stick, which gives the drink an eerie, magical radiance.

Sweet Death Becomes Her
With a name like Sweet Death Becomes Her this drink’s got to be good. With four different rums in there, you won’t care what it’s called.
1/2 oz light rum
1/2 oz Malibu rum
1/2 oz Bacardi 151 Rum
1/2 oz Captain Morgan spiced rum
4 oz pineapple juice
splash 7UP
pineapple slice for garnish
maraschino cherry for garnish
Procedure
1 Fill a 16-ounce glass with ice.
2 Combine all ingredients, except 7-Up in a shaker and shake well.
3 Pour over the ice and add a splash of 7UP on top.
4 Garnish with a pineapple slice on the rim, drop in a maraschino cherry, and serve with a straw.

Pretoria Punch
1 1/4 fl oz Malibu coconut rum
3/4 fl oz Chambord raspberry liquor
1 1/2 fl oz orange juice
1 1/2 fl oz cranberry juice
1 1/2 fl oz pineapple juice
lime wedge
orange wedge
Procedure
1 Mix ingredients over ice and shake well.
2 Served garnished with a lime and an orange wedge.

Hurricane Hanna from Yacht and Beach Club
1 fl oz Myers’s rum
3/4 fl oz peach schnapps
3 fl oz orange juice
1 splash grenadine
1/2 fl oz Bacardi 151 rum
cherry for garnish
orange slice for garnish
Procedure
1 Fill hurricane glass with ice.
2 Combine Myers’s rum, schnapps, orange juice and grenadine. Pour over ice.
3 Top off with Bacardi 151 rum.
4 Garnish with cherry and orange slice.

I am a big fan of the Turtle Krawl from Old Key West. It is just a rum punch but it works. Very refreshing in the Florida heat.

1/2 oz Castillo rum
1/2 oz Bacardi Silver rum
1/2 oz Malibu rum
1/2 oz Myers dark rum
Splash Grenadine
Splash Key lime juice
Equal parts orange juice and pineapple juice

Shake to mix in an ice filled 12oz cup.

Krakatoa Punch (Trader Sams)
-1oz dark rum
-1oz spiced rum
-3oz Gorilla Grog
-0.5oz almond syrup
-0.25oz grenadine

Then shake with ice. Serve with a tiki stick or umbrella for that authentic tiki bar feel. Disney adds one of those glow cubes for that extra magic.

Spikey Pineapple
-1.5oz Barbancourt Pango Rhum
-Dole Whip Soft Serve
-Bacardi 151 (optional)

Combine rhum & softserve in hurricane glass. Garnish with wedge of pineapple and umbrella. Drizzle 151 on top if too sweet for taste.

We used to drink Laughter’s Punch at DD when it was still Pleasure Island. It was, I believe, Malibu, Midori, Sprite and a cherry. We also live for the Grand Marnier slush which sadly has no actual recipe as far as I can tell. I guess they buy a mix from some company in Florida.
