When I was in college, our campus had a Starbucks franchise and I would be there every day studying. So my friends called me Starby like Starbucks. I’m a big coffee aficionado so I used that name here because I figured all the good Disney names would be taken, but I changed the spelling because I thought starbee was cuter. If I did it over, I’d be TTAtraveler. That’s my name on Disney Store reviews
June 28, 2017 at 11:32 am #35903Mine is actually pretty obvious. It shows my love for the Jungle Cruise. I enjoy the thrill rides like Space Mountain and such, but it’s the simple things I love the most. Sitting in a boat listening to bad joke after bad joke. Yes the jokes are corny, but that adds to the charm. Plus it’s never exactly the same twice. The Skipper makes all the difference. A good Skipper makes the attraction. A not so god Skipper can break the attraction. You’re never sure what kind of experience you’re gonna get.
June 28, 2017 at 11:35 am #35909My name “jcbelle827” is a combo of things. JC is my nickname at work. Belle is my favorite name and my favorite Disney character. 827 is my birthday. I just put them together and boom, my D-Cot name.

Grumpytude499 XPI think mine is pretty straightforward :hmmph: but if you need more details ask @PA_Timekeeper :p If I was going to change it is would have to be related. The duck is awesome. The Uncle Orville suggestion has merit though.
June 28, 2017 at 12:04 pm #35917If I had to pick mine over again, I’d probably make it Snuggly_Duckling. Tangled was the first Disney movie that Cammie really fell in love with, so it holds such a special place in my heart
June 28, 2017 at 12:26 pm #35920Mine shows how long I have been a fan of D-Cot ( and when I joined) my daughters name and her age was 5 when I joined, she is now 14 ! It makes me smile when I look at long I have been a fan of D-Cot !
June 28, 2017 at 12:42 pm #35924Mine is embarrassingly boring. If I could choose over, it would be Poca_Fangirl

85glht22 XPJune 28, 2017 at 7:32 pm #35967My nickname growing up was always Katie Bug. My mom, my oldest friend, and an aunt still call me just ‘Bug’ sometimes. So when it came to thinking of a name for this website I took that and added Disney to it to form disneybug.
June 29, 2017 at 7:39 am #35997Well, mine, or the reason I keep it, has a bit of a funny story attached. When I first started joining some sights in the early 2000’s I was a big Nascar fan. So I started with a short version of that, Nascfan. I just kept it uniform across the board, including here. Well, through changes in the way the sport is run I’m not anymore but I can’t change it now. The reason being is that when @chelle read it her mind went to NSyncfan and she loves NSync. It’s actually become an inside joke between us! So now, out of respect for my friend I can’t ever change it. If I did, I think it would be something like Tigger1fan or something like that, I’m not really sure.
even if you change it, you’ll always be nsync fan to me! lol
June 29, 2017 at 7:51 am #36006My lucky number is 28 and a former co-worker gave me the nickname of “nickels.” I’m also a science nerd and nickel is also element number 28 on the periodic table. Nothing Disney related, lol. Other than 1928 being Mickey Mouse’s birthday I suppose. I’d probably keep it again just for ease of use.
June 29, 2017 at 10:24 am #36063I have been bigdisz since 5th grade when I made an AIM account. I wanted to incorporate Disney into the name and emphasize my love for it. “Bigdiz” and Bigdis” were taken, so I combined the two to get “Bigdisz”. That is my screen name for d-cot and disboards.
June 29, 2017 at 10:52 am #36081Mine has nothing to do with Disney. Ive had the handle online since 1980 (yes googlable). Ive been an online troll for decades
I play a lot of fantasy role playing games (Dungeons and Dragons). Yes, I rank at the very top of the Nerd Power Index (NPI).
Dungeon Bait(8)
July 14, 2017 at 1:16 pm #38757Mine is pretty straightforward — a guy from PA who happens to have a mild obsession with now-defunct The Timekeeper! (Curiously enough, I’m an unfortunately perpetually tardy person. ) I bet I made my mom “suffer” through The Timekeeper 5 times as my dad and brother would go enjoy Alien Encounter instead. I still feel that I chose the better option.
I always wondered what the PA stood for. What part of Pennsylvania are ya from? I used to live in West Chester (near Philly)
Have you truly lived a little bit of everywhere @sej101? :p Central PA. I work in Harrisburg, the farm is near State College.
July 14, 2017 at 1:52 pm #38762My typical go-to user name usually involves my initials J.E.T. (and yes, I love that my initials spell Jet!) My first name is Justin which is a very common name, so if there’s ever another Justin nearby, I ask people to call me Jet to distinguish, but I digress. I didn’t want to use JETman like I usually do. I wanted to make my username more Disney-esque. So my mind went from Jets are fast, like really fast, almost as fast as Rockets, then a lightbulb went on as I remembered Disney’s Rocketeer movie, which I enjoyed, but still not good enough! It needed some EARS and then just to add my personal touch, I threw in my high school football number to get RocketEAR99
If I had it to do all over again, I probably wouldn’t change it.
