Web App Progress Report

Hello! I’m building a custom web application that will use the current backend’s database with an amazingly fast front-end. Yes, this will take a while, but when I get to certain point (mainly the jukebox working), I will release access to all supporters to break it.

I want to use this thread as a progress tracker. When I have something new to share, I’ll bump this thread.

What is it?
It’s a web application that will run in any browser (desktop or mobile). It will also be a native application that can run on your Windows, Mac or Linux machine (no need for a browser to be open). The plan is to have a similar experience to the one you have now, only faster! The jukebox will be available on any page of the site you visit with no listening interruptions. You can browse from page-to-page while jamming out your favorite Disney tunes and not have to worry about it being open in another tab.

Will I lose my data?
Nope. Everything will remain the same. Your login information, your profile data, etc. It is seamless. In fact, you will be able to use both sites at the same time while this one is in development.

To start this thread off, I will share a screen shot of what I have.

The activity feed is not functioning. It is just a placeholder for now. All the data on the sidebars are working: your profile data, recent articles, recent topics, birthdays, leaderboards. Subscribe to this thread to get notified when I post updates!
