    Friday January 27th:
5:45am wake up to try to get a run in. Both we both slept horribly due to our coughing and congestion. So the alarm went off, but we couldn’t sleep. So we watched Stacy’s Must-Do’s before getting up! We had breakfast at our hotel again. It was turning into a very breezy and chilly morning. So after eating, we went back to our room to put on long sleeves and grab jackets. We were to the bus stop at 8:30am and ran up as the driver closed the door. He did not open the doors for us and drove off. This was our only bus problem on this trip. The screens kept either delaying arrivals of all buses or not having any times posted on the screens. So the next EPCOT bus didn’t arrive until 9:02AM! 30 minutes later! So we missed the 9am park opening. Since no buses had come through, all of the bus stops at our resort were packed. Our bus only made 3 stops before it was full and we left our resort. We were dropped off at 9:20am. We rode Test Track first with a 30 minute wait. Then over to Frozen. It was a 45 minute posted wait but it was really only 25 minutes. It was less than 5 minutes until World Showcase was to open, so we stood at the hold line by China. So we walked all of World Showcase with hardly anyone around! I got pics of each country as we went and managed so many pictures with no one in them for at least 5 countries! We stopped in Japan to walk their store. Bummed that it’s under construction so it’s not as pretty as it usually is. We were getting hungry, so we grabbed fish and chips in the UK. The new Festival of the Arts was going on. We were so impressed by this festival!!!!! So we grabbed a dessert of a deconstructed purple sweet potato pie (insanely good) and the painted chocolate chip cookie (also very good). We then helped paint 6 squares each on the mural. Then over to the Odyssey building. We caught part of a presentation on drink mixing. We then went and rode the boat ride in Mexico. We noticed a framed art piece by the door and saw that Figment was on the frame and then noticed he was in the painting! (They took famous paintings and put Figment as the centerpiece of each of them). So we made it our mission to find them all! And we did! We stopped at the American Adventure to watch the show. Then we enjoyed the sipping chocolates at their food booth. We then finished the WS loop to find the remaining Figment pictures. After finding the one in Canada, we stopped at the Refreshment Port and picked up their cronut, but the new one with pastry cream and chocolate pearls. Holy cow, that was yum! We stopped for an art photo opp on the exit at the International Gateway.

We walked to Hollywood Studios and arrived at 4pm. We saw the March of the First Order as soon as we were arriving. We wet to Toy Story to use our FP. Ryan beat me, as usual. Then over to the Launch Bay. The Storm Troopers were out and stopped Ryan. They approved of his shirt! It’s a version of a Mickey Ice cream bar, but it’s a storm trooper helmet instead! They responded to him with a “good” and “affirmative”! We met Kylo Ren with a 20 minute wait. Then off to use our Tower of Terror FP. We were getting hungry, so we grabbed dinner at the new Pizza Rizzo and it was very good! We sat upstairs and it was super quiet! We then went to Star Tours to use our FP there. But there was no reason to use them because there was no wait and it was a walk on at 6:50pm. We walked through some shops. At 7:15pm we got our spot to watch the fireworks show. It was a great show and noticed the updates to it since our last viewing of it! The park closed right after the fireworks at 8pm. My sister and niece got there right at the start of the fireworks but people wouldn’t let them through to stand with us. So we met them after. We tried to go ride Rockin Roller Coaster but it was down. We went to Toy Story for EMH and my sister and niece joined us since they were staying with us in our room that night. It was posted 45 minutes but was really 15 minutes. We left at 8:45pm and rode in their car to our hotel. Ryan has a seminar to attend at 8am, so they stayed with us so they could drive him in the morning. My niece is 12 and tried to sleep on the small murphey pull down bed, but she was a bit too tall for it. So she switched to my sisters bed. Lights out around 10pm.

That’s terrible about the bus situation at CBR! I’m glad that you didn’t let it ruin your day. The desserts at the Flower and Garden Festival sound delicious! :ears:

We are thankful it was our absolute only bus issue. But we were still shocked that the driver drove off even though we were running and waving at him. We try to take it all in stride. We were initially very annoyed, but once our day got going, we didn’t think about it again.

We absolutely love the food at the festivals! This was the inaugural Festival of the Arts and we were beyond impressed! We are happy to hear they are bringing it back next year!

It’s hard to keep the festivals straight!!! But I love all of them! But it was an amazing one for sure! They had tons of artists with their work on display and for sale! It was all very well done!

15 minute wait during EMH for Toy Story?!?! You are gifted!

Overall, it sounds like a great day. For whatever reason, we have had one bus issue at some point of a stay at CBR as well. Glad it was the only one and not too-negative of an impact on your stay. FoA sounds really cool, we may have to check that out sometime

We were very thankful it seemed to be an isolated incident with the bus. We almost wondered if there had been an accident causing delays since no busses were coming by at all for over 20 minutes! We highly recommend FoA!! We were all very impressed by it!!
