    Thursday January 26th:
6am alarm. We walked to the Food Court and had breakfast before 8am. Got out to the Port Royale bus stop by 8:15am and the MK bus arrived at 8:20am for the 9am park opening. We were off the bus by 8:40am. The security lines were long, as were the turnstiles. But the AP turnstile had a minimal line! Score! They now have you enter all the way up to the castle, so it’s nice to not be crammed to watch the train station opening show. Don’t get me wrong, I love that version, but it was such a tight area that made it a less enjoyable experience on busy days. So we caught the new stage opening show about 5 minutes before park opening. It started right as we were getting up to the castle. It is a fun show with lots of characters! Then off to Space with a 10 minute wait. Then Haunted Mansion with a 10 minute wait. Then Thunder with a 30 minute wait. It was time for our Seven Dwarf’s FP, but it was down. So we opted to get a cinnamon roll snack at Gaston’s, but the line was 20 minutes! But it was yummy and a nice little break. By the time we finished, Mine Train was back up and we used our FP. We only had about a 10-15 minute wait and standby was 110. After our ride, we caught the new Muppets in Liberty Square show! It’s really cute! Then off to use our Thunder FP. The Pirates with a 20 minute wait. Then off to Space at 12:40pm to use our FP. We were hungry, so we grabbed nuggets and waffle fries at the Outpost and a burrito in Pecos Bills and loaded up on the toppings. Bot were so yummy. And we sat upstairs again since it’s way less crowded. While we were eating lunch, we booked at Pooh FP for 1:50pm and it was 1:30! Talk about efficient use of time! We took our time eating our lunch and got in line for our Pooh FP at 2:15pm. We walked the shops on Main Street. Then off to Starbucks for some caffeine!! We sipped our drinks at the tables by the ice cream parlor and were able to see the high portions of the floats for the Festival of Fantasy parade! While we were sitting there, we booked our 5th FP for the day for Jungle Cruise at 3:40pm! Once the parade ended, we walked to Jungle Cruise to use our FP! We had a fabulous Skipper, her name was Gina! We then got our 6th FP for Buzz for a 5:10pm time. We walked right onto the People Mover. Then over to Carousel of Progress. We used our FP for Buzz at 5:15pm. Ryan and I both maxed out and became Galactic Hero’s!!! We found the magic target to hit! I let Scott @nascfan know and told us to be sure to get our button at the exit of the ride. We went in and they said they don’t do buttons anymore. But they gave us the sticker of it and a card noting our achievement! Ryan had the great idea to go get a celebrating button from City Hall and turned our stickers into buttons!!! We wore them proudly for our trip! We then stopped for some castle pics and saw a dance party parade finishing by the Fire Station. We were able to book our 7th FP for Jungle again (I like to ride at night too) for a 7:10pm return time and it was 6:15pm. But after we booked it, we decided we were ready to head to Disney Springs for dinner.

Since it was after 4pm, they now how direct bus transportation from each park to Disney Springs! That’s a huge time saver from having to go to a resort first! We went to Morimoto’s Asia Street Food for dinner of stick ribs and pork bao! So yummy!!! We then swung by Erin McEnna’s for Gluten Free lemon tea cake and a brownie donut! The cake wasn’t as lemony as last time but it was still okay. The donut was really good! I carried them with me to Ghiradelli so Ryan could get his ice cream sundae for dessert. I ate half of each of my treats while he ate his. We then walked through the Co-Op, World of Disney and a few other shops. We were to the bus stop by 9:45pm. Back to our room and lights out by 11pm.

It was pretty awesome! The crowds really weren’t too bad! I almost wonder if people weren’t taking advantage of getting extra FP’s after using their initial three?
