I’m having trouble finding an answer to this so I figured I’d try here. I was thinking about buying a seasonal pass for Universal but I know they have black out days. Does anyone know if they, in the past have blacked out the weekend of the Celebration of Harry Potter. It’s the last weekend in January. That would be the deal breaker for me if they do but they only have their Summer seasonal calendar up right now and I need the Winter one. Thanks in advance.

In 2017 that weekend was not blacked out. However, the blackout dates are subject to change, it says that on the pass and I think maybe on the website too. 2018 blackout dates haven’t been announced yet so if that’s a deal breaker for you, I could call them and see if you can get the most accurate information.

Well I couldn’t find anything other than 2017’s black out dates that looked to be only the month of July (which you would NEVER see my butt in Florida at that time lol) and the 10 days surrounding Christmas…also a no go for this girl, so I went ahead and bit the bullet being that it was only $20 more for a whole season pass than it was for a 2 day park hopper! Even if I only go one more time before it expires I’ll get my monies worth.
