Tusker House vs. Crystal Palace

So i’m having a serious dilemma right now I started planning out our fastpass for our august trip (i’m going with my friend anna) but i completely forgot we had dining reservations i was able to fix the one day, but we had crystal palace reservations for wednesday for breakfast. anna seemed like she really wanted to do it, but if we went to magic kingdom that day, i would have to swap out our animal kingdom day for our arrival day, which means a.) i could risk losing our AK fastpasses if our flight is delayed b.) there’s not gonna be any flight of passage fastpasses that early in the week (or at least i highly doubt it, and don’t want to chance it.)

okay i know i’m rambling but hopefully you all can follow along. so i switched crystal palace for tusker house, but i’ve never been there. is the breakfast good? is it worth doing? or should i try and figure out how to incorporate crystal palace into our plans? anna is sleeping and god only knows when she wakes up, so i’m stressing ya’ll!

Tusker House is very good in my opinion and well worth doing. They have the traditional WDW breakfast foods but also stations and foods with a bit of African flare. I would eat there over and over again. So I think you switching it up and trying Tusker House is a very good choice! However, I also love Crystal Palace and would eat there also!
I guess a big factor would be characters. Tusker has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy I believe. I think we’ve seen Daisy there too but can’t remember if that was breakfast or lunch. And then Crystal Palace as we all know had Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. So are any of those make or break for you? That might help make your decision.

I much prefer Tusker House over Crystal Palace for many reasons. I like the characters at TH better: Mickey, Goofy, Donald & Daisy. Also Crystal Palace just seems chaotic to me. The tables are too close together and the food is just okay. I think you’ll be happy with your decision!

thanks guys! i was so worried anna would wanna do CP but i just facetimed her and her response was “i literally don’t care,” so tusker house it is!!

I prefer Tusker House. Their buffet is amazing. Crystal Palace is just average.

i was not impressed with CP…very blah food for the really high prices. Unless you are a huge Pooh fan, i wouldn’t bother.

For me breakfast food is breakfast food across the parks but Tusker House steps it up a tad with the African flair. You won’t be disappointed with TH. Now I’m hungry!
