    The new addition to Hollywood Studios is going quite well, and…there’s a bonus.

    There’s a Wheezy animatronic! This is the first Wheezy at any Disney park. I’ll add a video to it shortly.

    I’m really excited for Toy Story Land!!!!!!

    However… and I may be tarred and feathered for saying this.. . but I can’t help but think that they could have made such a better coaster than Slinky Dog Dash!! It reminds me of the Barnstormer!!! :down:

    I guess I can see what you mean @acamm but it looks like it’ll be so fun to ride! Probably because I am getting older and can’t handle the more intense rides as much (RnRC rattles my brain LOL ).

    I think it looks great, keeping in mind that it’s a track that Andy would have built in his yard and all! I won’t tar and feather you ;) :minnie:

    I was thinking that the alien ride (can’t remember what it’s called) could have been something better. Do we really need another ride that style? But I reserve all judgment until I see it and ride it :) @stupidjudy is right that the theme is Andy’s toys and what Andy built so in that respect I can understand the simplicity.

    I am missing the opening by SEVEN DAYS. Ugh! :) Oh well, at least that gives me something to look forward to next time? (Pandora is already new for me this trip, maybe it’s good I will not have two new things to explore? LOL.)

    @starbee, same here concerning the alien ride, that one looks a bit more “meh” but I haven’t been on any rides like the one they have in Carsland at DL so I have no idea really! Maybe it’ll be super fun! I am hoping the themeing makes it really cool.

    The bright side is, it will probably have calmed down some by the time you experience it :) you still have Pandora to explore and that will be amazing!

    @stupidjudy Yes I think the themeing will be amazing and I think I’ll love it! But, I would have created something different to the alien ride if anyone had asked me :P

    @disneygal1234 you will enjoy Pandora! Take time to explore and look around at all the details.

    Slinky Dog is exactly my wife’s coaster speed so I’m happy to have another one that she can ride, as much as I love the thrill rides. I know she’ll never get on Tron so this will be a nice addition to her riding portfolio.

    Since Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree ride left DCA we have no rides like the Alien Saucers in the U.S. Disney parks so I’m happy to have that addition also. I know we enjoyed Mater’s in DCA way more than we thought we would, laughing the whole time.

    What do you mean Mater’s left DCA? It’s still there!

    Mater’s really is a fun ride and I can’t wait for the Aliens ride in DHS, but I too think they could’ve come up with a different system. It’ll still be fun though, that much I know.

    Slinky Dog looks like a smooth and thrilling coaster! Can’t wait for that!
