@monkcline Love you too and can’t wait to see and squeeze you again in April!!!!
October 29, 2018 at 8:43 pm #93472Wahoo! Definitely a much better day than the previous!
Seriously though, you guys are insane with your Magic Kingdom days! So much walking back and forth! Do you know how much rest you could get if you weren’t walking the entire perimeter of Fantasyland and a stop at Haunted Mansion in one morning?!?!? It drives me nuts!
Haha! I love it when Pooh is appreciated by you old folks (no offense to you )! Pooh is just such a great attraction that isn’t just for kids!
Perfect timing on that meet! Photos and memories to last a lifetime! And I love how you all got to ride the best Epcot attraction together! It’s always more fun with friends!
Geez, two Soarin’ in a day? In my head, that sounds so irrational. Who would do the same attraction twice in a day? But in my heart, I know I would’ve done the same thing. I almost got to ride Carousel of Progress twice on the day we met!
Another wave of praise to @monkcline and @Disjen for successfully scaring you!!!October 29, 2018 at 8:57 pm #93476Actually hardly any walking back and forth. We did a lap, very simple, very easy. You pretty much have to perimeter Fantasyland since 7DMT is right in the middle! And do you know how little we’d get done if we didn’t do that? I’m amazed at how well we do with very little walking and staying ahead of the crowds. MK is actually very small and we never feel tired on those days. In fact, I was just telling Kathy this trip how easy MK is to navigate from one side to the other. While I disagree that Living with the Land is the best Epcot attraction, it is fun do do every so often and much more fun with friends! Two Soarin’s in a day? Of course! The bigger question is Who wouldn’t?! It’s one of the best attractions in WDW!
October 29, 2018 at 9:07 pm #93479You…..you did not just say that. Magic Kingdom is NOT small at all! All I’m saying is, you’re setting your feet up for disaster. And also I was indoctrinated by my brother the pain of backtracking, so I have a bit of an issue there…
Oh come on! Soarin’ is not that amazing, you go up and swoosh in front of a screen for 4 minutes! Yes, it is incredible, but I wouldn’t rank it as one of Disney’s best. You’re driving me bonkers!October 29, 2018 at 9:22 pm #93483Actually MK is very small. Compared to AK and Epcot it’s extremely small. And we didn’t backtrack at all. We did a lap. One simple easy lap. Very efficient. Our feet and legs never hurt on MK days. AK days, Epcot days, that may be another story.
Soarin’ is very much amazing. The feels, the sights, the smells, the different things you see each trip and position you happen to be in….granted it’s not FoP but very much amazing and definitely one of the best to us. Maybe not to you but that doesn’t mean it’s not to others. It’s Kathy’s favorite ride in Epcot, so yeah, one of Disney’s best. You may have a different opinion but we still respect another’s opinion here.October 29, 2018 at 9:33 pm #93486You’ve got me there. DAK and Epcot are HUGE! Those days are the worst for the feet!
I totally forgot about those feels on Soarin’…the emotion from its simplicity is a great feat. And there’s the curved Eiffel Tower… How about we agree to disagree?
October 29, 2018 at 9:38 pm #93488That’s the right thing to do.
October 31, 2018 at 11:09 am #93617oooh double soarin FPs, you are very lucky indeed!!!!
October 31, 2018 at 11:41 am #93630Yes we were!
