    Monday 4/23/18

Final day. I’m not used to *not* being the last ones to leave. I don’t like having to leave early. ☹ We checked our bag and dropped off our carry-ons at Bell Services. Proof you may go to Disney too much? The bell services guy recognized us from previous trips! We spent a few minutes chatting with him and then got our final Mickey waffles of the trip for breakfast. We got to Magic Kingdom about 8:40 and Heather and Ryan arrived just shortly after that! They rope dropped Space while Kathy and I were on the first boat of Pirates since she didn’t get to see it last night with the rest of us. We got some Photopass in Adventureland that we had never gotten before and also some on the bridge to Tomorrowland. Then we all met up and the three of us rode Big Thunder while Kathy got a final Haunted Mansion in. We all used our FP for Jungle Cruise which was hilarious as always! Then we saw Laugh Floor where I got picked for the mind reading game! That was so awesome! I had never been picked before! We walked over to Frontierland where Heather and Ryan got a snack of waffle fries. At that point we back to back used our FPs for 7DMT and then Team Pooh Tigger rode Winnie the Pooh with FP! I just love love love riding that with Heather! Ryan got chosen to participate in the Sword in the Stone show at the Carrousel! He put forth a very valiant effort! We were so proud of him and his try! We then rode People Mover for our last ride of the trip. A great way to end it! Heather and Ryan went to grab a Dole Whip snack as I recall and we found a Photopass that we hadn’t seen before at the Liberty Bell which was cool! Then we enjoyed a lunch of tacos at Pecos Bills with Heather and Ryan meeting up with us. We all got pictures at the Castle and then we walked the sad walk out with Heather and Ryan as they were going to Animal Kingdom for the afternoon. We gave our long hugs goodbye at the bus stop, fortunately knowing we would see each other again in October, but that didn’t make it any less tough. Storms rolled through while we were at Pop and got them a bit at Animal Kingdom, but the flight home was on time and pretty smooth. It did help ease the pain of flying back that Heather was keeping us posted on their afternoon at AK, and she did great with letting us know how their final day went the next day also!

Final thoughts: Oh my gosh, what an incredible trip this was! The second time seeing Heather and our first runDisney race and first time seeing Melissa and Jen and second time seeing Kelly! I just love all of these ladies to death! So many absolutely wonderful things happened with just incredible, wonderful, amazing people! I think I keep saying or at least thinking this, but this was one of the best!

If you’ve made it through all of my ramblings, thank you for joining me! Up next, October, Halloween time, and D-Cot meet!

I can see why you want to be the last to leave. It’s hard to miss out on the fun!
Regardless, it sounds like it was a great final morning. Goodbyes are always so tough.
And it seems like a totally spectacular trip! Definitely one of the best! Thanks for more of your ramblings, and I look forward to more! :stitch:
