Peter Mayhew, actor of Chewbacca through Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens has passed away. I am happy to say I was able to see him in person once at a Star Wars Weekend at DHS. He was truly a kind and gentle man who loved his work.

Yes, we saw that on the news last night, right before we sat down to watch the end of Return of the Jedi. (We have been going back and watching the movies). (where is the Chewbacca emoticon? ha),
Will be interesting to see what the International Krewe of Chewbaccus will do for Mardi Gras this next year? Or they might do something tomorrow for May 4th Be With You.

Thanks Steve, he is my new favorite emoji! This kind of hit hard the other day, I grew up loving Chewie and always thought Peter Mayhew was the perfect person behind the mask. his presence will be missed.
