@bpellinen I haven’t participated in their virtual runs. But in the past, it just worked on the honor system. You sign up for the race and they have a few months window in which they start to mail out finisher medals. You can log on and enter a finish time to print a finishers certificate if you choose to. But if you don’t submit your time, you will still receive your medal. At least that’s how it’s been in the past. If I remember correctly, they will mail the summer medals between June-September. There’s no rhyme or reason to who gets theirs and when. If you sign up for all 3 summer ones, they will mail them at one time. So you could have your August medal before August depending on when they mail yours out. And it doesn’t seem to depend on when you registered either. It truly just seems random. But you should just be able to log into your account and go to your race and submit your time once it has opened up for the race dates window!

@bpellinen You’re welcome! Disney is pretty relaxed on their virtual races. If you were to register for a half marathon in-person race then you would need an actual race with a proof of time to submit. But they make the virtual fun and easy for people to do! You can even split up the distance over a few runs if you needed to as well! For their in-person 5k and 10k races they do allow you to just put an estimated finish time for your corral placement. Longer races require actual proof. Since the virtual summer series is a 5k they wouldn’t technically request a proof of time. It’s the honor system for them.

@bpellinen no proof necessary for the Disney virtual races. I did them last summer. Well, I started them.

Never actually completed all 3 because I was running further than a 5K and I just didn’t want to cut my runs short. Ridiculous, yes, but every time I was out there running, I never wanted to stop.

Still received all the medals and other stuff.
