    @10dedfish I am going to finally call the Chiro today and make an appointment. My lower back has been bothering me and it’s not getting any better. And, I also need to call the orthopedic and make an appointment there as well. My knee still isn’t right. It hurts still when I kneel and when I cross my legs and that knee is on top I can feel something sticking out…..meniscus????
    :(
    I don’t know. I just feel like there’s more going on than just a bone bruise. We’ll see
    Hope you get some good news from the therapist. Sucks being on the DL!!!!

    @nascfan Thanks!

    @missingwdw

    Yeah we need to take better care of ourselves. I’ll admit I was the first to abuse my body in my youth, lifting and moving things that were way beyond the safe working limit.
    As far as your lower back, take a good hard look at how you run, especially your form. I’ve been having lower back pain post run for a while and I noticed that during my runs I was leaning forward just enough to cause my lower back to tighten. I got nothing on your knee, other than I hope it heals quickly.

    WELL! I have been having lower pack tightness and some pain too. Because of the heat and humidity I am focusing on walk/runs so a) I don’t over do it and b) to ensure I can be out from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. Today when I got the the beach I went by a restaurant with big windows and SURE ENOUGH, not only was I leaning forward but my head was pointed slightly down as well – this probably also explains why my shoulders were tight/sore at the end of an outing. I straightened my back and neck/head and it felt SO much better. I’ll focus on this for the next week – to hopefully re-ingrain the good habits of a straight back and chin up. THANKS @10dedfish!!

    Great!! Glad I could help out! Also make sure that you aren’t lifting your shoulders when you run (think shrugging); I used to do that as I grew fatigued on long runs! The next day, my shoulders, neck and upper back would scream at it!

    Got my one and only run in on this trip this morning. It’s always nice to run around Poly and GF, even in 100% humidity

    Anyone interested in doing a 30 day challenge with me? If so, any suggestions? Air Squats? Pushups? Burpees? I’m calling out @acamm, @nascfan, @missingwdw, @yoda, @abeach

    I’ll do pushups! I can’t do burpees, they hurt my back too much every time I try. @cth0511 would you like to participate too?

    @monkcline
    , @nascfan suggested pushups, and form 9/1 to 9/30. I’m suggesting 30 a day. Does that work well for you?

    @10dedfish @monkcline and anyone else who would like to join, 30 sounds good for the start. How about this, 30 first 10 days, increase to 50 for the next 10, 70 for the final 10. Would that work or too complicated? Broken into as many sets as necessary for the individual person of course.
