    I am a runner… but only Virginia races to date. One day I would love to do a race at WDW! :ears: I look forward to reading the responses on here! :) :up: :minnie:

    I’m hoping to sign up for the Virtual Running Shorts this year :ears: registration isn’t open yet so I don’t know what the cost will be but I was thinking that’s a fun way to start getting involved! We are taking a Disney trip this year but it doesn’t overlap with any races and I can’t take a trip purely for a runDisney event. We’ll see!

    Disney puts on some pretty amazing races. They’re pricey but IMO worth it.

    I have actually looked at the prices about 2 years ago, and I was shocked at the high registration fees! :surprised: :down:

    I do not run full marathons, or even half. I generally run in 5K or 10K races. I would like to do the ‘baby races’ (my friends make fun of me and my short races) at Disney!! :heart:

    I considered the Virtual Running Shorts last year, but passed. Now I regret it so I might do it this year. They’re all 5k races and you can get an extra medal by doing all 3. You have something like 60 days to complete them but you set your own course and do it when you want, which I found appealing because I’ve only ever done one 5k before and starting out it’s intimidating to watch everyone else fly past you during the race. You wouldn’t have to worry about that with the virtual 5k :up: having said that, it might be hard to make your own course and you might prefer an organized event.

    Disney events are great for 5Ks because not everyone is running for time. There’s always photo ops because youre in the parks before they actually open and characters out and about. They’re good “fun” races.

    I have done the 1/2 marathon they have in January and am hoping to do the 1/2 marathon Star Wars next April!! @Acamm, I know the price is a little high (I choked a little), but I felt it was worth every penny!! :ears:
