So I know a bunch of D-Cotters have signed up for the Virtual Running Shorts this year. I wanted to start a thread where we can keep track of who’s participating, what date you plan on running, and where. It will be great to see who all is running! Also it might be fun to line up some of our runs to feel like we’re running together! :blush:

So tempted, so torn… That is a lot of money just for medals… They are cool though, and I do love Pluto… But that could be $$$ toward my next WDW trip… Ugh. If the challenge were closed and only 2 were available, it would be much less tempting… But then again, I’d just feel like I was buying medals for doing training runs… Sooo torn!

I’m doing these too! I’m doing the first one as close to the end of the month as possible, I need to get a little stronger before I put down my time

I’m shooting for either 6/17 or 6/24 for my first 5k. I don’t want to leave it until the last minute in case something happens but I could use more training :p

Think less of it buying medals more like ensuring your motivated. I’m going to check these out sometime today when I get a chance

I know. I’m trying to see it that way. But $142 pays for the 10k, and Half in October that I love and am completely unprepared for, plus keep $$$ in my pocket… and knowing I’m disgustingly out of shape for 1/2M preparation would be very motivating.

@RIDisneyPinGuy Well, I tried :p if you’re able to virtually run with some of us, that’s basically the same thing and would be fun!

, so unless there is some miracle re: the station treadmill, I wouldn’t be able to run the same time as you… But I can try for the same day at least!
