    Best known around these parts as the voice of Carl in the Pixar film “Up,” as well as the voice of J. Jonah Jameson in the 1990s Spider-Man animated series.

    To Generation X (myself included) and Baby Boomers, a LOT of us remember him as Lou Grant.

    Ed will be missed, he also plays as Santa Claus in Elf. I will remember his voice as Carl Frederiksen who was very courageous. :(

    A brand new Pixar series debuted today (9/1/2021) on Disney+ — Dug Days. It’s about Carl and Dug. And… Ed Asner reprised his role of Carl, so this is pretty much his last performance. The first episode was funny.
