    Space Mountain received this groovy on-board soundtrack in ’96. Designed to be a combination of 60’s Sci-Fi horror (for the lift hills) and surf music (for the fast parts), the composition takes heavy inspiration from The Carnival of the Animals (you might recognize it as the opening song for Impressions de France). Even better, the guitarist for the song is Dick Dale, a pioneer of surf music.
