    Has anyone seen anything from Disney at all about when they might feel comfortable opening up? I’ve seen a lot of speculation (including the July 2021 date from some business journal writer) but nothing from Disney. Just curious.

    lots of speculation but the kicker is the fact that 1) they’ve been letting people make trip reservations starting June 1 and 2) they’ve been a huge part of the task force that’s working on solutions so they can reopen. i think they’ll do a soft opening…smaller crowds like florida residents or passholders to make sure it works then open to disney hotel guests. i just hope i know something soon as we have a june 10 arrival so i kinda need to know.

    Our trip isn’t until next year (we just had one on New Year’s) but we have a huge group coming (at least 10 people). I am happy to see Disney taking precautions, but I also understand how precarious any planning is right now.

    Like Jamie said, nothing from Disney yet. So until that happens it’s just planning and speculation. And hoping for future trips!

    Many rumors exist. I read an article yesterday that the parks plan to open and limit capacity, starting at 50%. Other rumors are opening for FL residents only at first, then USA, then global.

    I just got off the phone with Bob and he said they hope for June 1 with 50% capacity. Everything right now is speculations but I read June 1 is what they’re hoping. It will be interesting to see the effort around social distancing and santizing EVERYTHING.

    Fingers crossed for you! Having to postpone or cancel a Disney vacation is a heartbreaking circumstance. We just had a major event on our annual calendar canceled. It’s a camping trip in Missouri with 1200 friends. In fact, all of the major camping events on our calendar this year have been canceled, even through August. I’m glad everyone is being proactive and staying safe, but it’s hard not to be sad at the same time.
