October Meet Up

My wife and will be at WDW from Oct 5th to Oct 20th. We plan on attending the meet up
.We are staying at Pop from 10/5 to 10/12. Switching to Animal Kingdom Lodge 10/12 to 10/16 and then to Saratoga Springs 10/16 to 10/20.
Is anyone going to one of the Party for the Senses in October?
I can’t wait to see everyone! I know I’m new to the gang, but I was talking to @acamm this morning and wouldn’t it be cool for some crazy identifiable D-COT shirts to wear at the meet “UP”

Hubby has been on a real F&W kick recently, looking at pictures from our last trip and even ordering the cookbook we forgot to pick up at last year’s festival
all that to say, he really wanted to go back this year, so we’ve worked out a way to make it happen!!! 
We’ve booked our trip and we’ll be at the D-Cot meet! Hopefully the military won’t mess that up for me @starbee that is terrific news!!!!!!! How exciting, and omgosh your hubby ordering the cookbook makes me smile!!! I can’t wait to meet you!!!!
@Acamm Thanks!!! I am so excited!! We were going to take a break this year and return to WDW next year, but with Toy Story Land opening and the D-Cot Meet I just couldn’t skip this year
I am so excited to meet you!!! are you guys thinking about the Halloween Party? I can’t wait to get that cookbook too – why has no one posted the citrus thistle recipe?!
@starbee I don’t think we will be going to a Party this time, but we do plan on doing F&W a couple of days!
We are excited to see Toy Story Land too! Trying to get FP’s for Slinky Dog Coaster is going to be tough… but I’m up for the challenge!!
@acamm Darn, I was thinking a big D-Cot group at MNSSHP would be so much fun! But we are for sure doing F&W too, it would be fun to go together! We will be skipping F&W on the weekend, it’s too crowded to be any fun
we went on a Saturday last year just because we were done sooner than anticipated at Animal Kingdom and thought “how bad could it be?” The answer was ridiculous! Bag check alone took 30 minutes and it was shoulder to shoulder walking around the WS, never again!

I’ll be undertaking that FP challenge with you! Ok, so – who is officially coming to the meet? I know @nascfan is because I booked his trip already
Who else needs a room? If we have enough people, @dngnb8 suggested a room block. (I would still need to see if we can swing this.) Promos seems to exclude this weekend of the meet.
So, who still needs to book?
Shirts – How many are interested in D-CoT meet shirts? Design ideas? I can talk with Steve and see if he can put some shirts up in the shop (or I have a friend who makes amazing custom shirts.. Or you can wear a regular D-CoT shirt)

@chelle does your friend design shirts too or just make them? I’ll see if I can think of any design ideas… My wife and I will be coming as well. The trip will be 6 days overlapping the 13th. Arrival and departure are based on PO accommodation availability. I was going to go solo, but she caved.
This trip she and I will be focusing less on rides and more on the shows. Some rides will be a must but not the usual stuff.
