    Monday 10/15:
7:15am alarm. Again, I woke up earlier and actually got up and showered before the alarm went off. Ryan didn’t even realize I had gotten up and showered, he was OUT! LOL We were down to breakfast by 8:40am. We shared the amazing baguette French Toast with a side of bacon and eggs. That French Toast is just heavenly!!!! We were on our bus to AK at 9:25am. We stopped for pics on our way into the park and on our way to our Everest FP. Standby was already 60 minutes. We stopped for more pics on our way to Dinosaur FP. It was another scorcher today so we stopped at Starbucks for huge ice cold drinks and caffeine!!! We sipped and strolled to Pandora and walked around a bit while waiting for our 11:50am Flights of Passage FP to be available. I seriously love this ride so much! We were seated at the very edge this time. On Soarin that’s a big issue because you can’t see things clearly. HOWEVER, on FoP these seats are amazing!! They actually direct your line of sight completely differently and I noticed a ton of things I hadn’t seen before! There is no image distortion either! Just as crisp and clear as the center! Since we were heading to MK later in the day, we snagged a Pirates FP for 5pm. After FoP we heading to EPCOT to get our 4th day check-in to be able to get our Annual Passholder Cutting board from the Festival Center. We were to our bus stop to EPCOT by 12:30pm and didn’t have much of a wait.

Our first stop in EPCOT was the Festival Center to get our cutting boards. We also got the Sipping Chocolate while in there. So yum!!! We rode Mission Space Green with less than a 10 minute wait. I do like this less intense version for when I’m really not up for the intense side! We then finished off our Food Booths we had missed. First stop was China for the Chicken Dumplings and Beef Pancake. The Beef Pancake was one of my favorite dishes at the festival! Then off to Spain for the Paella. This was our least favorite dish. It seemed dry and not very appealing. We then stopped at Italy for a Lemoncello Margarita (which wasn’t frozen, I think they had ran out and just put these in the mixers so they weren’t even slushy yet) but it was yummy. We also got the Rigatoni and the Pollo. Both were pretty good. We stopped in the America Pavilion to cool off. We looked at the new Native American Display which was really cool to see. And listened in on the Voices of Liberty for a bit. Ryan stopped for another Lobster Roll at Hops & Barley at the America Pavilion. We then stopped for another Kakigori in Japan! Scott ran over and met us! They got one as well. Kelly and Cammie met over there as well! We all stood/sat in the shade and enjoyed our treats. We all chatted for a bit. We said our goodbyes to Kelly and Cammie. We would see Scott and Kathy over at MK in a bit. Ryan and I had one last food stop and it was Ireland for the Warm Chocolate Pudding, which is really a molten cake that’s amazingly good. We needed to get a monorail ride in, so we caught one quickly to the TTC and waited about 10 minutes for our connection to MK.

We met Teri and Kailey over at the Dole Whip stand and we cooled down with another treat! We visited with Teri and friends of theirs that we met when we were there in August. Teri and Kailey were hot and done for the day. She was off of school for teacher in service and had to get ready for school tomorrow. We knew it would be very limited time to spend with them on this trip, but it really was way too short today. We chatted them for just a bit and Scott and Kathy were able to make it to MK to say hi/bye to them really quickly! They’ve gotten to meet and spend time with Teri and Kailey on our January and April trips this year. So I was really happy the timing worked out. I said my hard goodbyes to Teri and Kailey and watched them walk down Main Street. The sadness was short lived because @breesmommy5 was coming to meet us on Main Street!!! I’ve been chatting with Robyn for a very long time and couldn’t wait to finally meet her in person! Scott beat me to her and he gave her a ginormous bear hug!! Then it was time for my squishy hugs with Robyn! It was so great to see her!! We chatted for a bit and took some pics together. Ryan went into Starbucks and got 4 Venti Ice Waters to help hydrate us. We were almost completely out of water in our Camelbak! And Scott was able to drink one to cool off as well! Ryan and I said goodbye for the day to everyone. We had to get to our 5:45pm Pirates FP. Standby was 60 minutes. MK just felt absolutely packed and busy. Since the local kids didn’t have school, it was just crazy busy. Ryan and I took the train from the Splash Mountain Train Station over to Fantasyland to get a short ride in. We enjoy the train but have missed out on our recent trips! We then rode Carousel of Progress. Ryan napped. I sang along and cooled off! We were hot and tired so we decided to head back to French Quarter even earlier than we planned. We were on our bus at 7:05pm. We stopped in the Food Court for dinner. I had Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans and Mac & Cheese (yes it comes with all of that for like $14). Ryan got the amazing Steak and Cheese sandwich again. We were so hungry that we nearly finished it all! We relaxed for about 30 minutes in our room before beginning the not-so-fun task of packing to head home tomorrow. We had lights out by 10pm.

Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way right now……BOOO to packing! I’m really glad you got to see Kelly and Cammie before they left. And it was so awesome to meet Robyn!
I’m sorry I stole one of the waters, I was just dying! It was so hot that day! And so crowded! That was beyond Marathon weekend crowds! Great day though! I just wish you had more time with Teri and Kailey. I’m really glad you had the extra time with them in August. I know that doesn’t make up for it but it would have been worse without that.

You totally didn’t steal a water! Ryan got them for everyone!!! We just dumped what no one else took into our pack! So stinking hot and crowded! Way beyond Marathon Weekend crowds! Yep, the whole point to our August trip was so that I could have time with Teri and Kailey.

I’m glad that made you feel better! Ryan seriously got 4 so that anyone who needed one could take one! You were the only one that snatched one up, smart boy! It was so good and refreshing for sure!!!

Flight of Passage is so awesome, no matter the seat! Interesting take on the edge, I may have to try it out!
Drinking chocolate is such an odd concept to me. Just get a regular chocolate bar, why drink it?!? :surprised:
I love how you got to see all those people in one day! But I’m equally as sad that you had to say goodbye to all of them! :surprised:
Wow, that sure is busy! Disney seems to be a popular place on days off! :surprised:
Smart thinking on the train! On your next trip, it’ll be closed for refurb!
Also I’m still mad Ryan sleeps on CoP, but at least he doesn’t snore :goofy:
And another boo to packing! No bueno!

FoP really is amazing! We were shocked at how crystal clear the screen still was from the side! And the perspective forces you to look in different directions! SO there really isn’t a bad seat in the house for this ride! There’s something amazing about drinking chocolate! I can’t explain it! Yes, I love to eat chocolate, but their drinking chocolate is decadent! I was so happy and thankful to see all of those people in one day. But just as sad to say goodbye to them all as well. It was insanely busy for sure!! It’s amazing at how many locals do come out on those days off from school! I’m sad it will be closed for refurb on our next trip! It’s nice to go and relax for a ride! I’m totally fine with him sleeping. It keeps him happy. SO that’s all that matters to me! And no, he doesn’t snore, so it’s all good! Packing is stupid! ;)

You know who else drank chocolate? That one kid in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And that did not end well :goofy: I think that’s what unsettles me on drinking chocolate, I think of Augustus Gloop! LOL :P
Yeah, the locals here are crazy! We’ve learned to avoid the days they have off, it’s just too crowded! :surprised:

I am thinking of planning sometime in December or late November, I was going to see when or if anyone from D-Cot will be there then, I know you said you wont go back then :( :( but the kids want to see Disney at Christmas time instead of Halloween

    @sej101 See, I had a great point!!! I’m right again! ;)

I hope we can convince Scott to come late next year! ;) Ryan’s 40th birthday is November 19th next year. We are already talking about big trips for both of our 40th birthdays next year. So there’s a strong chance we will be there then! We may do a cruise. But even if we do that, we would still do a couple of days at the parks too. But I will keep you posted! We would be on vacation for Ryan’s actual birthday, but not sure what date range we will cover. I miss Disney at Christmas! It’s been 3 years since we saw full Disney Christmas! In January of this year, they still had a few of the things up and the castle was lit. But for the most part it was changing back to normal.
