    Sunday 10/14:
The alarm was set for 6:50am but I woke up before 6am. What is up with my sleep cycle on this trip?! We got up and got ready for our Beignet Dash Fun Run (1.4 miles) around French Quarter and Riverside resorts. We got down to check in at 7:30am and the run started at 8am at the back path behind the pool by the river. Ryan and I had not been running at all before this, it had been a long while since our last run! LOL Ryan went all out and paced crazy fast and finished 2nd! He later regretted this because it started a weird lung/coughing issue that is still lingering a bit. We think it was pretty much exercise induced asthma exacerbated by the high humidity. I was my normal scenic route self and finished a bit slower than I normally would for such a short distance. But it was hot and crazy humid that morning. We got a super cute and fun Mardi Gra bead themed medal (well silicon, but it was our medal for finishing) and our bib for the race had a voucher for a free order of beignets (3 count) valid for anytime that day. We showered and got ready for the day. Down to the food court just before 10am. Ryan got in line for a omelet (it was moving very slowly) and I got one order of our beignets. Holy yum, those beignets are sooooo good!!!! After our yummy breakfast we went out to the bus stop and our MK bus pulled up within 2 minutes! We were dropped off by 10:30am and in line at the end of our 10:45am FP for Space. They have you exit out the backway right now and we got held for a good 5 minutes or so to wait for the train to pass. We then went over to People Mover for a relaxing spin. Come to find out that Scott and Kathy were on People Mover too and were just a handful of cars behind us! Great minds think alike! We met them after they disembarked and we went to ride our Haunted FP’s together. We split from them for them to head to a different FP. Ryan and I went to our Thunder FP. While in line we snagged a Jungle FP to match up with Scott and Kathy’s. Ryan and I were already dripping sweat. The head and humidity were back with a vengeance. We got a Dole Whip swirl and ate it outside of Jungle while we waited for Scott and Kathy. Another fun river cruise! We split up for a bit while we walked the Main Street shops but met them for our 2pm Crystal Palace Reservation! Scott checked us in early and we were seated at 1:40pm! This was our first lunch here (we’ve had breakfast before). The food offerings did not disappoint! Our bellies were STUFFED!!! And the character interactions were just simply amazing!!!! We saw Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore and I think nearly all of them came around twice during our lunch! It’s nice that they offer an Annual Passholder discount too! We were done with lunch by 3pm. Ryan and I planned to take an afternoon break and change before our second MNSSHP of this trip! We had thought about swimming but our time was a bit limited. So we opted to relax in our room for a bit before changing into fresh clothes. We stopped by the food court for our second set of free beignets from our run that morning! They were made fresh and hot right then and there. So yummy!! We finished eating and topped off our refill mug.

We caught us bus to MK just after 5pm. Scott and Kathy already steaked out a spot in at the circus tent to meet the 7 Dwarfs and they saved us a spot! It was so nice having the meet and greets inside this year! They started meeting at 6:15pm. So we had lots of time to chit chat before the meetings started. We were near the front of the line and maybe waited 10 minutes once they started! So we met them before the party officially started!! I had a friend text me a picture of a specific Minnie baby doll/rattle that they needed for their youngest daughter. So since we exited the meeting in the tent, we looked for it and found it quickly. Kelly and Cammie met us outside the Circus tent. It was still about 10 minutes or so before the party officially started so the Trick or Treat stops weren’t open yet. So we just got in line for the one at the Train Station in New Fantasyland. We all then stopped at tons of ToT stops around the park along with getting the Magic Shots! Since Ryan and I had done a party a few nights before, we knew where everything was at and were able to navigate and direct on options pretty quickly! It made the night go so smooth! We met Tarzan, Jane and Terk with a bit of a wait. Cammie just couldn’t believe or understand why on earth Tarzan didn’t have clothes on!! LOL She’s 7 years old. She even shouted out to him that he should have money by now and buy clothes! He almost broke character and was at a loss on what to say! LOL Ryan and I wanted to go ride Space Mountain in the pitch dark. So everyone else went to do other things and we had planned to meet up again. But we all seemed to bounce around in different directions the rest of the night so unfortunately Ryan and I didn’t see them that night. Space Mountain was about a 20 minute wait even with the line out the door! This is how I can tell you for fact that Fast Passes make the lines longer! We even queued up the entire inside and were directed to the left side. Still only 20 minutes! If there were Fast Passes, that line would have easily been 80 minutes or more! It was so much fun and crazy to have no clue where you were going! The pitch dark removed all of my memorized motions on this ride. But it was so much fun!!! They did have some different music playing inside the ride as well. We stopped for the Maleficent Lime Ice Cream Cone. It was really yummy! Basically like a lime flavored Dole Whip! Very refreshing for the hot evening! We met the Queen of Hearts and Tweedles. I made sure to greet her with a huge curtsy and over exaggerated “YOUR MAJESTY”. She was beyond thrilled and had me do it again! The boys were busy picking their ears and eating it! :surprised: LOL We then caught the fireworks with just minutes to spare before they started. Such a great show! Then off to the Tea Cups with no wait. It was cool because they had totally different lighting and had fog machines pumping fog in. So it made it different. We went for a nice slow spin this evening. It was nearly 11pm and we were hungry for food. So we gave Cosmic Rays another try and just ordered nuggets this time! They were served piping hot within moments!! Wahoo! We were relieved to not have a food issue this night! It was nice to sit in the air conditioning and eat some food. We took the long way to get to Liberty Square, I think the stage show was going on and it was packed at the hub. We found the perfect spot again in from of Liberty Tree Tavern. I really like this parade and seeing a lot of different characters than you normally get to see! As soon as it ended, we stayed on the wood decking by the building to book it to the crossover spot to get to Adventureland to then get to the exit. We didn’t get tangled up in the crowds! We booked it and literally got all the way to the train station just moments before the start of the parade hit that part in the park! So we were able to get to the exit without having to wait for a break in the parade! We were out to our bus stop at 11:45pm and on our way at 11:55pm. There must have been a road detour since they do all the road construction at night. We ended up going the VERY LONG WAY back to French Quarter! We actually went all the way up the highway to EPCOT and then took the road to FQ. So we didn’t get dropped off until 12:20am. Lights out by 1am.

I am so sorry Ryan still has a bit of lingering cough! You know what? So do I! Mine is so much better but still there a bit. It was so humid and warm that morning, I’m glad you took your scenic route time. We had such a fun day and that lunch spent with you guys, just the absolute best! Can you ever beat Team :pooh: :tigger: having lunch with :pooh: and :tigger: ?! I don’t think so! It was so great with you guys in queue for Seven Dwarfs and meeting them, and spending as much time as we could together at the party! You guys were fantastic guides to get us through the magic shots as quickly as possible! We wouldn’t have gotten nearly as much done without you! I am sad we couldn’t reconnect after Space. If I have one regret from the evening it is that. :( But the time we had was so incredible! Loved it so much!

What’s up with the coughs you boys got?! My body only allowed me to take my scenic route time! LOL It was an amazing lunch!!! I’m glad we could be such a help at the party!! It went super smoothly that night! I’m sad we couldn’t reconnect that evening either. But it was still a fun night!

Thank you dear. Funny thing is, I don’t think there’s anything that can be done at this point. It’s not that deep hacking I had before, it’s just the every so often cough. I used a healer stick that Lauren’s neighbor gave me and took cough medicine to calm it when it was bad. Now it’s just that last hanging on bit.

There really isn’t anything that can be done at this point. That’s kind of how Ryan is. If he’s been talking a lot, then he starts to cough. But he can go without coughing for hours if he doesn’t have to talk much! I’m glad yours is on the tail end.

Congrats to Ryan on 2nd place, but so sorry about the cough! Does he still have it?!? :surprised: Great job to you as well! Taking the scenic route is so much nicer to me! ;)
Beignets for breakfast sound amazing!!! Although not nearly as amazing as whatever that French toast thing you had the day before… :smirk:
My goodness, this trip was so hot! October weather was off its rocker!
What great Peoplemover timing! Did you happen to see them in their Peoplemover car? LOL
Sounds like a great lunch! Team :pooh: :tigger: meeting :pooh: and :tigger: sounds incredible!
So ToT = Trick or Treating, but my brain is so used to so many acronyms that I almost read ToT as Tower of Terror! :goofy:
Oh my gosh, Cammie!!! I’m with you, Cammie! LOL LOL LOL
I’m glad you didn’t have any troubles at Cosmic Ray’s again!
Overall, sounds like an excellent day!!!

I was shocked that Ryan decided to run full out for the race, especially since he hadn’t ran in so long! He still has a random cough every once in a while. Scott’s has held on too. It’s just a weird and annoying cough. I love the scenic route and I prefer that method as well! I don’t think my body knows how to run at any other speed now!! ;) LOL The beignets were so yummy!! I think the cinnamon french toast baguette beat them out slightly though! It was an insanely hot October! What was up with that?!?! It was perfect People Mover Timing! We didn’t see them while we were on it. But once we got off and were standing below, we saw them coming in! Lunch was absolutely amazing! Sorry on the confusion! I was going to get tired of typing Trick or Treating repeatedly! So I did ToT and was hoping it wasn’t too confusing since it was in MK and not HS! Cammie was a riot!! Smooth sailing in Cosmic Ray’s! I think it helped that they lines were non-existent this night since it was so late! It was an excellent day!

Yeah, um, usually people TRAIN for a race before running it. I wonder what was going on inside his head. It sounds like he’s at least a little better. I hope it goes away entirely soon!
The scenic route is always better! You get to see more instead of whizzing by it! ;)
What’s wrong with typing the same thing over and over? It’s not monotonous or boring at all! :goofy: ;)
Oh yeah, that must’ve really helped Cosmic Ray’s! Everybody’s in a much better mood!…well, maybe not everybody since it’s late at night. But most people! :goofy:

Um, I kind of missed that training part for our race in April! LOL But lesson learned! Ryan was being competitive because there was another guy running at the front. He stayed with him until just before the end. Ryan needed to walk for a few steps to catch his breath. Silly boys! He’s doing so much better than he had been! Now he just gets that cough tickle if he talks too much or someone has strong perfume on or things like that. Exactly!!! I like to enjoy seeing the beautiful surroundings!! And I always say that at a race I take the scenic route because I paid a lot of money to run it, so I’m getting my money’s worth!! LOL It’s totally not monotonous our boring to type the same thing over and over again! LOL ;) Yep! I think people were in a better mood because they’ve already enjoyed much of the party! And they were cranking out the orders they got in very quickly. I think we caught them not long before they were closing. I’m sure there were still grumpy guss’. ;)

Oof! Lesson definitely learned! :surprised: Those running boys sure are silly! You’re so right! You paid for it, might as well get what it’s worth! Everyone’s getting the same prize too!
Yeah definitely not monotonous! And definitely not a punishment handed out by teachers for misconduct! LOL

Very hard lesson learned, but I learned!! LOL Silly boys indeed!! Exactly! I might as well get my money’s worth! And we do all get the same bling at the end! Well, besides the people that place 1-3 at an actual RunDisney event! It totally does sound like a punishment handed out by teachers!
