    Friday 11/6/20
No alarm was needed, got up about 10 minutes before it was due to go off. The earlier park closings help with not waking up exhausted. We were out of the room by 7:15 and on a MK bus at 7:50 for a scheduled 9:00 am open. The buses were rolling in like a race day again! We found this to be pretty much the way it was every morning when we needed bus transportation. It really made it nice with the limited capacity and social distanced queues. We got to MK and Main Street was playing Christmas music! It was regular Main Street music yesterday. What a fun change! We knew after knocking out most of the park yesterday that we planned to go left. There was no one in front of us as we walked through Liberty Square and Frontierland! In fact, we rode Big Thunder twice before park open! Kathy can only handle that ride once, the shaking gives her a headache if she tries to go too often, so it was the four of us on the first ride and just the three of us on the second. Splash had just opened up and so we all rode that with just a 15 minute wait. This had become one of the most popular rides in MK since they announced the changes coming to it so we were happy to get on without too bad of a wait. A funny thing happened though, Kathy misunderstood the instructions from the cast member and thought we were all supposed to be in our own row! So she took the front row by herself! I was in the second and Heather and Ryan were in the last row. Oh my gosh, she was terrified! But I was so proud of her! She went from only starting to ride Splash in 2016 to front row by herself in 2020! Heather and Ryan went to Space, one of Ryan’s absolutely favorite rides, and we went to Dumbo. It was basically just a wait for one cycle to end. We saw Mousesteps.com (Jeff and Denise) who do Mousesteps Weekly on Youtube just at the hub. It was the second time seeing Denise but first seeing Jeff. They are so personable and we had a great chat with them. They and it seemed all the other vloggers were there catching the first day of Christmas cavalcades. We stopped on Main Street and I saw and said hi to Molly from allears.net. Three celebrities in less than 15 minutes! Haha! The Christmas cavalcade was really cool! We browsed the Emporium for a little bit and then met up with Heather and Ryan and went to CoP. After that we mobile ordered Pecos Bill’s for lunch. Unfortunately it was more crowded than the day before so it took awhile for the food to be ready and a table was really tough to find! We finally got lucky and found one after wandering for quite a bit. We had a delicious cheeseburger, something we don’t usually get there.

After lunch Kathy and I headed over and found Robyn and her family in Fantasyland! We rode Dumbo with them and I rode with Robert while Kathy and Robyn rode together. Then I rode Barnstormer with them while Kathy relaxed in the nice relaxation area by Pete’s Silly Sideshow. They had couches and chairs and footstools, perfect for a little downtime! I got to ride Barnstormer with Robyn! That was so fun! It was a little bit of a wait so got to have some good chatting time in line with them. Afterwards we took our leave of them for now because they wanted to ride Space which was at about an hour. We would see Robyn a couple more times on the trip though. Wait times were really elevated this afternoon compared to yesterday! Heather had found the spirit jersey Kathy was looking for in Star Traders so we picked that up. Then we worked our way across the park, Heather and Ryan were getting in line for Country Bear Jamboree. We say the Toy Soldiers and the Main Street Philharmonic on the way over! Also caught a bit of the new Muppets in Liberty Square. They were singing Jingle Bells! Once we found Heather and Ryan, Merida and the princess cavalcade went by! The Country Bears never disappoint and it was as usual a great show! Afterwards with wait times still up we all saw the Tiki Room! Such a nice break! We were tired and a bit warm so we got some photopass shots on our way out. Heather and Ryan stayed since it was their last day at MK and they wanted to stay for the evening Castle show/colors. There was a Pop bus waiting for us! We saw several deer while leaving. We were home quickly and got a nice swim in before dinner. We had a delicious pot roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans for dinner! I do love Disney green beans! A nice relaxing evening at the resort followed.

Holy cow! It was so much easier getting up each morning without having long park hours! That’s the only good side to the shorter hours. ;) The MK buses were so efficient! It was amazing! I hope they keep it up like that even with more resorts opening. It was so fun to be there back to back days and get to experience regular MK music and then Christmas music! That’s so cool that you saw your celebrities! It was such a crowded day compared to the day before! All those vlogger! LOL But a fun day! I’m so glad you got to hang out with Robyn and family! I loved all the cavalcades! Disney green beans are the best! And their pot roast and mashed potatoes never disappoint either! Such a great day!

That was one good thing to the shorter hours! More sleep! It was so much fun to see the different days back to back!

No alarm and no exhaustion, that’s great! Almost like a vacation! LOL Good start to the park too! Nice short waits in Frontierland and way to go Kathy on Splash!!! That’s incredible!…I wonder if my inspiration from the night before helped her… ;) ;) :stitch: But a nice park day with friends, sounds great. And deer! How awesome is that!
