    Saturday November 7th:
    Awake by 6:30am. We tried to get a RotR boarding group right at 7am but they were already gone. They started allowing you to join from the app and don’t need to be on property. We left our room at 8:30am to drive to HS. We were first in line at the HS parking toll booth for a 10am park opening. We were the first car to park too! Downside is you end up in the farthest parking spot of the row. But on the positive side it was super easy to find our car at the end of the day! Security was super fast. In line for Mickey’s train at 9:20am. There were a lot of people there already, likely from buses and the Sky Liner. We were off the ride by 10am. It was such a fun and cute ride! So much to see! In line for Smugglers at 10:15am, posted 20 minutes. On by 10:45am. Ryan and I were pilots and S&K were gunners. I did better at my piloting skills this time around! We did a great job! Placed mobile order for Dock Bay 7, fried chicken with mac and cheese and broccoli for me. Ryan got the pot roast with mushroom pasta. It was going to be a bit before our window opened to pick up our food. So we got in line to show S&K the bazaar shops. Waited about 20 minutes. We ended up buying Ryan a plush Boba Fett and Winnie a plush Jabba. It was our window to get our lunch and clicked that we were there. S&K got their notification first and were able to grab a table. It was minutes later when we got our notification. Such a delicious lunch and it really hit the spot! It was nice to sit inside with our masks off for a bit. We found where they have the magic shot with Baby Yoda so we all got our pics there. It was on the way to Toy Story Land from the back entrance. We got in line for Toy Story Mania at 12:35pm. We were out the entrance to Toy Story Land. Posted wait was 30 min. We were on by 12:50pm. Ryan barely beat me today! Ryan, Scott and I got in line for RnRC at 1:12pm and on at 1:55pm. Right when we got off, we were able to snag a backup boarding group for RoTR, group 93, right at the 2pm window. S&K went elsewhere while Ryan and I rode Tower. It was posted 55 minutes at 2:10pm. We were queued into the Fatasmic area. Within 10 minutes or so they announced that half the elevators just broke down so they were just running at half capacity. If they don’t get them fixed it could be a 100 minute wait. We opted to wait to see how things progressed for a bit. Many groups left so we moved up quite a way. We boarded at 3pm. Met S&K then over to Star Tours with a near walk on. Then Alien Saucers with a posted 35 min wait but was a near walk on. We got our alert for our RoTR boarding group to board and we all went that way. We were on within 15-20 min. Still a great experience on our 3rd time riding it! I think S&K were blown away! Over to Toy Story Mania with a posted 30 min wait but really just 20. Ryan got just over 200k and I got just under 200k. Slinky posted 45 min at 5:10pm. We were on at 5:48pm. There was a pause of 5-10 minutes while they did cleaning. We were going to try to ride Mickey’s Runaway Railway again but it was still a 75 min wait. My ankle was killing me. I had sprained/strained it several weeks ago. It had been feeling fine. But apparently with all the standing and miles, it was too much. We had all planned to run our virtual 10k from the cancelled Wine & Dine race tomorrow morning. But I decided it wasn’t in my best interest to run it. I also wasn’t up for standing on my ankle for much longer. So we went to see the projections on Tower of Terror for Christmas. We also checked out some of the awesome retro Christmas décor. We were out to our car and back to Pop at 6:40pm. Ryan and I mobile ordered pot roast and chicken Parmesan Alfredo pasta from the food court. It was ready quickly so we sat and enjoyed that. Then mobile ordered cookies. We should have done it sooner because it took like 10 minutes for them to notify us they were ready! We were back in our room by 8pm. Ryan got me adjusted and worked on my ankle. It was pretty swollen. I iced and elevated while watching tv. We were exhausted and lights out by 10pm.
    Miles logged 9.38

    That was such a fun, full day! You guys were the best tour guides around Batuu! Couldn’t have done what we did or figured it out without you. You made it so much nicer for us for when we went back the following Friday. Hopefully we can return the favor to our kids in September and be as good of guides. We did do great on Smuggler’s Run! Our posters at RnRC! How cool we all three got on them! And yes, we were totally blown away by Rise! Absolutely amazing! I felt so bad for both you and Kathy at the end of the night, your ankle and her foot. Our injured girls.

    @warrsm I love those magic shots!! The Baby Yoda one was on the path between Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land! The dog must be an Instagram star or something! The gal was posing the pup and taking tons of pics! I’m so glad we got to ride Rise again too! We hope we can ride it again in April! It such a great attraction! I love the retro decorations at HS!! I love the projections on Tower! Oh man, fingers crossed! I know they were starting the Christmas stuff right when we got there. But it wasn’t all fully done. But as you can see, quite a bit was decorated already!

    @nascfan
    It really was a fun and full day! Aw! I’m so glad we were great tour guides for you and Kathy! And I’m glad it helped you to have an even nicer time on your second visit to HS that trip! I bet you will be fantastic tour guides to the kids! I was shocked that all 3 of us got our names on posters at RnRC! Rise is just amazing!! Aw! Thank you! I truly didn’t realize how bad it was hurting until we got to Saturday. I wasn’t saying anything about it because I was hoping that it was going to start feeling better. But unfortunately, it got worse. Kathy and I were quite the pair!

    First car to park, that’s awesome! It’s always fun to be in some of the first few rows at the Studios since they’re so close. Granted, it does tend to be a long walk down the row :D LOL Glad you liked Runaway Railway! And good job being pilots! That’s no easy job! ;) I’m surprised they had a line for the Bazaar but I guess that would really be the best way to regulate crowds… :bb8: Glad you made it into the boarding groups and onto Rise!!! Fascinating to see all the varying wait times here. Some good, some bad. What a bummer about your ankle. That really dampers everything :( :(
    Wow does Kylo look menacing in those pics! :up: :kylo:
    How awesome that you got three posters in RnRC!!! Looks like the pre-show wasn’t running from the pictures tho. I know MMRR wasn’t running theirs. Was any of the pre-shows showing in the Studios??? :(

    @Nascfan
    I love Kathy’s shirt for this day!!!!!!! :heart: :dopey:

    Thanks! She really likes that one too!
    No pre-shows anywhere during COVID times with few exceptions. Some may be running like Dinosaur but that’s just queue line, you don’t wait for the actual show. Although I never realized until a couple days ago that the transport on Rise was a pre-show! I thought it was part of the ride! So I’m glad they did have both of those going. It wouldn’t make sense without them and I’m sad for the guests that DL won’t have them going when they re-open.

    Dang. I knew some of the pre-shows weren’t running but I didn’t think it was all of them. Makes sense, but it is a bummer, especially for first-timers. It’s essential for Rise! Breaks down a lot though. And I’m pretty sure the Stretching Room is running in DL since the waits are so long and it’s necessary to get people down…but idk. Strange strange strange
