It seems like a majority of the people on here visit WDW more. I’m west coast based and have never been to WDW. Anyone visit DL?

We did, May 2014. It was a great trip! For our daughter’s college graduation. I’d love to get back out there again.

@kcboston Easter falls at the beginning of April next year. So either do late April or early May and you should avoid the bigger crowds. Weather is usually nice and not too warm yet.

Agreed! A safe bet would be to make sure you aren’t going during any “spring break” periods or near Memorial Day. Also, Mothers Day weekend is when Disneyland has their Tinkerbell Half Marathon weekend and it’s pretty busy.

Personally, I think September or early October are some of the best times. Kids are all in school, everyone is at work…

@eeyorepoohfan Thanks! The end of April or early May would be perfect, it’s right after my daughter’s birthday.

I would love to go for a trip in September or October, but work just doesn’t allow for that kind of time off until maybe the beginning of November :( With my job the slower times of year are in the spring after March 15, in the summer until early August, and November 1 through Christmas. That was probably more detail than you needed, but that’s why I’m considering the spring. Unless early November is a good time to go and still be able to swim?

@kcboston that can be hit or miss. I did Avengers last year and was able to swim because it was actually still pretty warm. But then it could also be cold! California is weird that way, lol

@eeyorepoohfan How fun! I’m so jealous. I really wanted to do that one but it doesn’t work with our vacation plans:(

Bummer!! They did a fantastic job with Stsr Wars Race this year! Didn’t love the course, but they had good support! Maybe another year! In two years it will be the 5th anniversary!

Avengers 2016 had the best course I e ever run at Amy Disney race! It flew by so quickly! We ran the vase line at Angel’s Stadium. So the first 4-ish mikes were essentially in the parks. Entered the stadium parking lot around mike 8, exited the stadium at 8. Our 15k check in was leaving the parking lot. Hit mile 11 and we were almost back to DL and could see Grizxlg River Run! Mentally an easy race and course!
