@bexruns Really. When we come to WDW we stay normally 18-21 days and on property is just a really expensive option for that period of time. When we visited we where a family of 4, between flights, cars, parking, park tickets (Disney and “the other none disney parks”), food ect it was easily £10,000. Plus when we first started coming in the late 90’s value resorts where not really a thing. So we rented a villa in White Oak Circle, then my dads boss bought a Villa out there so that became the defacto place to stay
We tend to get a 14 day ticket plus a 7 day ticket for Universal, then we go shopping and that too The USA is very cheap for clothing and most stuff in general for us visiting so we tend to do alot of shopping infact! Many malls
March 27, 2020 at 11:00 am #127800@cdolan1990 I didnt even think about that. Honestly, its why we haven’t gone and we live here
A flight from CA to FL is not exactly cheap and then to stay on property for a week would be super expensive. We’ve talked about making it happen, just need to actually do itMarch 27, 2020 at 11:54 am #127807My parents done some internal flights around the USA last year from Vegas to Orlando, that was alomost as much as thier flight from Heathrow to Vegas! I checked on a hotel stay for a week before our honeymoon, thinking i might be willing to pay. A week in Poly in late september was over £8,000! It was all a little crazy, even the budget resorts where well over £1000. Just too much money to stack on top At the rate the honeymoom might be off anyway, depending on how everything / everyone recovers

Definitely put it on your bucket list! It’s nothing like WDW (a lot smaller) but everyone should go once.
