85glht22 XPDon’t do table service during the party… it kills too much valuable time… do quick service if you need to eat.
If I’m not mistaken , there are 2 parade times… if you can, wait to see the parade’s 2nd round… less people so you can have a good spot to see it.August 29, 2018 at 5:43 pm #87048If you want to meet Jack and Sally, get in line as soon as possible. They always have the longest line and people start getting in line when they get in. The characters will take the longest time, so prioritize certain ones over others.
See the last showing of everything if you can. There are smaller crowds for Hocus Pocus and the parade at their last showing.
If you run out of room in your treat bag, you can ask for another and collect more candy!
The Cadaver Dans are not listed on the entertainment schedules. They can be found roaming Frontierland intermittently throughout the night.August 29, 2018 at 6:41 pm #87054Don’t do table service during the party… it kills too much valuable time… do quick service if you need to eat. was not planning on doing table service, i want to experience as much as the party as possible! and okay that’s a good idea to wait for the second parade!

would you say jafar or the wonderland characters have long lines? besides jack and sally those are the only characters i wanna meet. also do you think it’s worth it to spend time trick or treating if its just me (21) and my mom (48)?
also did not know that about cadaver dans! that’s awesome! i’ll have to find them!August 29, 2018 at 7:03 pm #87059The characters will quickly eat up your time. Aside from Jack and Sally and the Seven Dwarfs, the lines usually last an hour or more. Those first two last much longer.
It’s definitely worth the time to get the candy! You can get so much! And it’s your candy, you can eat it or even save it to give out for trick or treaters!
August 29, 2018 at 9:49 pm #87062Julia, I cannot emphasize this enough….if you want to see Jack and Sally, make that first priority. Get in line early, early, early. And when I say early, 4:30 is not too early. They will meet before the party and you do not want to be wasting an hour, hour and a half, two hours of party time in line for any character.
Prioritize the other characters you want to see. If you can grab a short line after Jack and Sally, get it. If not, sometimes end of night is shorter. Yes, they could be long.
Eat a good meal beforehand. Do not take time to eat a meal during the party if you can avoid it.
There are three rides with enhancements this year, Pirates, Space, Tea Cups. If you want to do those try to plan a time maybe during the first parade.
Keep an eye on the weather. If it looks dry definitely see the second parade. Far less crowded. Still, if you want curbside on Main Street you’re still going to have to stake out a spot early. Best parade on property in my opinion.
Trick or treating is not only fun, I highly recommend it. Where else can two adults such as yourselves trick or treat? We did two years ago, ages 51 and 50 and had a blast! If you are trick or treating early in the party and can, start back to front, far less crowded to start at the back.
There are some photopass shots only at the party. If you are interested in those plan some time.
Know and understand that you likely won’t be able to do it all. Prioritize so that you don’t miss any of your must do’s.I hope this helps. Any other questions just ask! And above all, have fun with it! This is a great party where it doesn’t matter if your 5 or 100, it’s just so much fun to be a kid!
August 29, 2018 at 10:20 pm #87068@SEJ101 holy crap, i thought jack and sally would be an hour, not everyone else
August 29, 2018 at 10:24 pm #87070@nascfan you need to start a blog! you’re so full of useful information LOL! I’ll make sure i’m early there for jack and sally, i reaalllly wanna meet them. I didn’t know that about the rides, i’m definitely gonna have to get on pirates. i’m gonna have to convince my mom to trick or treat, she can be kind of picky
August 29, 2018 at 10:42 pm #87072@julia, thank you! I love to help people plan and share any information or helpful hints and tips I have. I hope that she will get caught up in the atmosphere and love trick or treating as much as we did!
