@nascfan I couldn’t agree more!! I hate the tiers, not just in DHS but the rest of the parks, too. I hope they never start them in MK!

I feel the same way!! I know it’s not a very popular idea among Disney fans, but I would totally pay for an Express Pass-type of option. Seems like they could offer both – a pay FP option and the current FP system, so if you don’t want to partake in the pay system, you don’t have to.

I also agree with everyone that they could have put this new ride somewhere else in DHS and kept GMR! There is so much in that park just sitting empty or barely used…why not add something to one of those spots and not take anything else away from a pretty empty park?

Nope, not me. I would not pay extra for a front of the line pass.

@acamm I’d consider paying extra for a front of the line pass, but I wouldn’t like it. The thing I like about free fast passes is that it’s open to everyone, but favors the ones who plan ahead (and most folks don’t). That said, I thought the system was far better with the paper passes (so you had to make a little more effort to get them) and without the tiers…they really do bring tears :'(

I’m not sure when you were in high school but the Studios USED to be a working studios. They had a tour that would take you through these walled off catwalks that would allow you to look down into the soundstage below and see what was being worked on or filmed. I want to say Home Improvement was worked on a few times there. Thunder In Paradise filmed quite a bit at Disney World and around in some of the parks..I would not be surprised if they used the studio’s soundstages. Tom Hanks film some of From The Earth To The Moon in one soundstage. But those were mostly secretive productions. When the park opened, however, it was known fact that it was a working studio. It was even marketed that way. Go back and look for pictures or marketing videos and see if you can find the times the Streets of America were being marketed as a working filming street. (complete with a tour tram in the background)
