    Wednesday January 8th:
3am alarm. Out the door at 4. Airport at 5am. Smooth check in and security. Grabbed our normal breakfast burritos. 7am flight on time to Houston. Layover of 1.5 hours. On time departure. We were supposed to land at 2:40pm but landed early at 2:15pm. In line at Magical Express by 2:45pm. On our way before 3pm. Our bus only stopped at Pop this time! Dropped off at 3:35pm. No room text yet so we got in line. As soon as we did, we received our room text! Room 2424 50’s section 4th floor, just what we requested! We got our refillable mug on our way to our room. We changed our shirts and got our backpack ready for the expo to go get our bibs for the half marathon on Saturday. We were down to the bus stop for WWoS at 4:10pm and were picked up within 10 minutes. We were dropped off quickly since it’s just down the road from Pop. No wait for our shirt and bib pickup. We walked the vendor building. Then took our time in the RunDisney merchandise area. I had tried to exchange my race shirt for a smaller size, but they didn’t have any in the size I needed. We picked up our usual stuff: magnet, ornament, mug, tank top, shirt. We also picked up Teri a Dopey jacket and weekend mug to surprise her for doing Dopey again. We finished up and were out to the bus stop for DS at 6:25pm. We waited about 20 min. It was getting very chilly so we put on long sleeves. We ate at Pizza Ponte for dinner, had pepperoni pizza. It was yummy as always! Stopped in Erin McKenna’s for a brownie bomb cupcake, blueberry donut and cookies and cream donut for breakfasts. Stopped at Sprinkles for a chocolate marshmallow cupcake for Ryan. We stopped in Under Armor for shorts for Ryan, he forgot to pack any shorts for the parks since it was so cold at home and it was going to get hot during this trip. Thankfully they had his style and size in stock! We walked out to our bus stop and the bus just pulled up! Dropped off at Pop at 8:30pm. Filled up our water bottles. Ate our cupcakes in our room. Luggage was waiting for us there and we unpacked and organized. We got our cheer bag ready for morning. We are going to be cheering on my sister (Teri), bestie Deedee and her husband Henry, Justin (@rocketEAR99) and his wife Christy and Chloe (@starbee). They are all completing the Dopey challenge. Ryan and I completed it in 2018. It’s 48.6 miles over 4 days: 5K Thursday, 10K Friday, Half Marathon Saturday and Full Marathon Sunday! We know how much it helped and meant to us to have Scott and Kathy cheer us on, we wanted to do the same for our friends! We got our bag ready for morning with anything and everything our runners might need or have forgotten. This bag will go with us each cheer morning. Lights out at 10:20pm.

I’m positive we’ve discussed this before, but I just love the phrase “normal breakfast burritos.” LOL
Brownie bomb, that sounds exciting!!!! LOL Hope it was as good as it sounds!
Yeah shorts are kind of a must here! LOL Glad that was remedied!
That Flash shirt is hilarious!!! I also relate to it!!! You totally should have gotten it!!! LOL

    Isn’t that a great phrase?!
The brownie bomb was absolutely delicious!
It’s funny about the shorts because it was super cold here. So even though we go to FL, shorts are the last thing in your mind! And the start of the trip was going to be cold! But I’m glad we could remedy it easily!
I really love the Flash shirt and totally should have gotten it!!
It was a great first day!

So great! LOL That makes some sense. Although NM shouldn’t be cold in the first place :goofy: But easy fix!

You’d be amazed at how cold NM can get. They have mountains and snow and everything! LOL

I refuse to accept NM has snowy mountains. Deserts aren’t supposed to do that! :stitch:

Well, they do. It’s not the Sahara! LOL

Deserts can be very cold. Antarctica for example.
