    Happy Friday All!

    I’m wondering if I can get some expert advice. We aren’t heading down until December so we got awhile but wife and I are debating about how to handle Magical Express. We arrive a little after 9pm on a Friday night and realize that it could take up to 3 hours to get luggage at your room after your flight lands. We’d love to get to bed before 12am-1am. Do you think it would be worth it and faster to just not link our flight to MCO and pick up our bags on our own and then bus it to our hotel or should we just let Disney handle it? I’d assume with the 10pm cut-off that turnaround would be quicker but who knows. Sorry for the novel but looking forward to your response.

    you can still do magical express! just link your reservation, but don’t put the luggage tags on your bags and pick them up yourselves at baggage claim. we did this when we went in september :-)

    Thanks! That’s what we are leaning towards. Last time we went down, we (originally) just missed the 10pm cutoff with our flight arrival and had to grab our bags. Of course we sat at Logan for 45 minutes, got in much later than expected and unfortunately didn’t get to our hotel until well after 1AM. Fun times :)

    I think you have the right idea. Pick up your luggage at baggage claim from MCO and take them on the bus with you.
