No thank you.
July 9, 2019 at 11:02 am #113153Wow okay now I have to rethink how I’m gonna do my articles this week
I don’t like this. Don’t want it to happen. And I believe Tim Burton was approached about making a sequel and he said, word for word, “That’s not happening. I’m not going to tarnish my perfect movie and sellout so you can have more money, stop being greedy.” Well…it was something like that

Yup! Can we not

if we’re talking about Tim Burton, I’m sure that’s pretty accurate!
July 9, 2019 at 11:51 am #113161I seriously just don’t understand Disney’s sudden obsession with live action remakes. I mean, one of the coolest things about the original Nightmare Before Christmas is that it’s stop motion animation! Please, Disney, just staaaahhhp already and come up with something new!

I don’t either other than money and laziness
July 9, 2019 at 12:11 pm #113164Unfortunately I wouldn’t put it past them. I wouldn’t put anything past them anymore. I’m afraid that until there is a fundamental and complete changeover from Iger and down many, many layers of management that we may have just witnessed the death of Disney creativity and imagineering. Unless or until someone gets in there that understands what Disney once was, what it was founded on, the creativity and imaginations of the people and artists, I don’t see this train wreck stopping.
July 9, 2019 at 1:57 pm #113169I think some of the characters in live action might actually be pretty terrifying too…like, I don’t think this would be PG. There’s a man made of goo, a clown who’s face comes off, vampire teddy bears…like, this would need to be put back under the Touchstone label.
July 9, 2019 at 2:04 pm #113171oh.. my.. god.. YES!!!! i’ve wanted this to happen for so long!!! i think this would be SO COOL to see in live action! i hope it’s a live action over a sequel, i actually don’t want a sequel at all. i mean this would be so creepy, so weird, so bizarre to see it in live action, and that makes me want it to happen even more!!!!
usually i’m against live actions, but this makes my little spooky, halloween loving heart so happy
July 9, 2019 at 2:10 pm #113173i agree with all of you that live actions are a result of laziness and wanting more money, but guys.. imagine the aesthetic, the spookiness, the weirdness this movie will have. as @SEJ101 said, there’s a man made of goo and a clown who’s face comes off, i mean c’mon, how cool would that be to see?!?!
i don’t know, maybe i’m just a weirdo who loves spooky things like this, but if they do it right, i think this has some serious potential to be an awesome movie (at least visually)
