    I’m a few days late to this party, but I’m up for the challenge! I started a personal goal on Jan 2nd so this is a great motivation to keep me on track AND to add a 2nd goal for me to meet each day. Thanks for starting this January Challenge!!

    Let me catch y’all up on the January challenge for me this week:

    Tuesday – 1 minute crunches
    Wednesday – 1 minute push ups
    Thursday – defrosting the car
    Friday – defrosting the car
    Saturday – 2 mile run

    I’m really glad I made the decision to be flexible and just do something each day. Tuesday was crazy busy preparing to go back to work after Christmas leave so I only managed 1 minute of crunches but hey it was something. Wednesday being the first day back at work since before Christmas was super busy so again only had time for 1 minute of push ups but again, I did something. We had freezing rain Wednesday night and Thursday morning so outdoor running was a bust. My Fitbit told me defrosting the car amounted to 13 minutes of rowing so I’ll take that as my exercise for the day LOL my shoulders were killing me! Thursday night we got 4″ of snow so out to defrost the car again Friday, this time my Fitbit said I did 16 minutes of rowing so I’ll take it :P today I’m back home for the weekend so I did some real exercise and got out for a muddy and cold 2 mile run :up:

    I’ve also tracked my calories to the best of my ability every day since January 1. I need to recalculate what amount I should be consuming. It’s been 1,600 on the low end to 2,000 on the high end so far this week

    Oh and because I ate ice cream and a cookie felt like overachieving today, I also took Trixie on a 30 minute walk this afternoon on top of my 2 mile run this morning, and thereby got over 10,000 steps today for the first time since basic training :up:

    I’ve been consistent, and have been moving for at least 30 minutes each day! Today me, kevin, and zack went on a 35 min hike and worked up a sweat like crazy! Tomorrow we are going to the farm to check on our new cow Lilo, and I plan on hiking the perimeter of the 300 acre farm… we shall see how that goes bc its so muddy here LOL

    Got a run in today, but completely went over my sugar total for today. I still logged my food for the day, so I’m still counting that as completing the challenge for today! Some days are better than others. Oh well. In the words of Scarlett O’Hara, “After all, tomorrow is another day”

    Morning all. Walked 1.25 miles this morning, followed up with 3 sets of 10 full extension on the ab wheel. Like everyone else, still eating garbage. Next thing on my list.

    Yesterday was a bust. Didn’t even come close to following any sense of a healthy eating plan, and never ended up working out. Well, I did do 10 push-ups, but really, that didn’t count!
    Today though, I’m back baby!
