I would love to see all but one of these Epcot rumors come true! The exception being Living with the Land of course. Some things are perfect the way they are.

When you started with Stitch, my mind jumped to Stitch’s Great Escape rumors. But it’s Epcot.

Most of these rumors are only a thing because it’s a month before D23 and everyone wants to predict something. Half of these I don’t believe. :|

I understand some of this needs to be done. I will miss Ellen and Bill Nye, and am curious about Remi’s new ride and as long as they keep Figment, the Imagination could use an update. But I totally agree with DinseyDana, please don’t touch Living With The Land!

The addition of Coco to Mexico pavillion, yes makes sense but it feels like they just added the Three Caballeros animatronics to the end of the ride, maybe they can add Coco and keep the Caballeros?

I agree the end of SSE was fun for a bit but I miss the old ending too. I wouldn’t mind updates there and for Project Tomorrow.

We love Living with the Land but if they have new methods of growing food they want to show us I am okay with that!

No comment on UoE :p

I forgot about France, I love love love Impressions de France, the music is amazing and the film is so cheesy, love it. I wonder if the Ratatouille ride would replace it or would be in addition to? In any case the ride at DLP looks great.

So I’m probably going to express an unpopular opinion but I understand the concept behind putting character-themed attractions, etc in the world’s showcase, but I’m not a big fan. There is something about being able to walk around and really feel like you are in that country. I feel like the more we put characters, it feels more commercialized. However, I also totally get the idea of putting characters in their corresponding countries.

As far as future world, most of those sound really interesting! I think making the seas look like the institute from Finding Dory would be a cool touch and I get the Land updates. UOE… well, Guardians would be pretty cool to see

From reports/rumours/etc., this would be in addition to, not an instead of. And frankly, with as much as has been taken away lately, I’m in favor of just about any “addition to”!

Shouldn’t they maybe finish Star Wars Land/ Toy Story Land so we don’t have TWO bare boned parks? Seems unlikely

I am torn, I get why they would want to add the characters but like you, I like the feel of the countries without them.

I definitely don’t care for the characters in the World Showcase, as long as the focus isn’t on the characters *cough* Frozen in Norway *cough*

Yesss! I totally agree! World Showcase is such a wonderful and interesting place because the pavilions are set up to look like the country they represent & NOT the movie that is based in that particular country. I love Disney movies but I enjoy that World Showcase is authentic to the country. It sets it apart from the other parks & thats what makes it so special. I knew when Frozen took over the Norway Pavilion we were passing a threshold for this to happen to other countries around our beloved section of Epcot. Who knows I may end up loving all the changes. Disney always seems to do a fantastic job but I’m a little saddened by these rumors. I would most definitely be heart broken to see Impressions de France and Illuminations go. Those are two of my most favorite things ever about World Showcase.

I thought Universal had full rights to Marvel in FL? if so it seems doubtful that UoE will be replaced by something like that. Altho i agree it is time for it and Figment to go (please don’t throw stuff at me). I hope they don’t touch living with the land, I love that ride as it is. I’m ok with them updating the look of the Seas while they are at it. And the “gravestones” at the front of EPCOT are due to go. I miss the old Innoventions – it used to be so cool and have lots to do. Now it is just sad to think that they think their only choice is another restaurant – seriously there are a ton of restaurants already!!

I don’t mind them adding characters to the countries…the Frozen tie in didn’t bother me that much. What really bothered me was how the store was taken over by Frozen gear…that made me sad. I just don’t want all the country stores to turn into character items only.
