It’s a half a day park for me. Idk, there’s nothing really exciting for me there. Like sadly my brain see’s it as an over-glorified zoo. I can get all the attractions done by two and call it good. Now, I will say Pandora will definitely make me stay longer now. I really hope that really adds night life to the park considering when I go its always closing at with 6 or 7.

This is exactly how I feel. No matter how hard I try to take my time and stay, I’m still done by 2pm and that’s WITH walking through to see the animals. I have always said that just 3 or 4 more big attractions and it’s an all day park for me. While I couldn’t care LESS about Avatar, I’m just tickled to death that it’s coming with 2 new big rides! Now just a couple more and we’re good!

We actually like AK and spent at least most of the day there. One year, my son found some “Full Day Park” stickers that we wore on our AK day. That got us a lot of extra magic from the CMs. We are planning a full day there for our summer trip this year – though it will be on separate days (AM one day, PM the next).

To be honest, I usually skip Animal Kingdom. The last time I was there was 2011 (which is odd seeing as how I LOVE The Festival Of The Lion King). Now that Pandora is open I’ll make sure to hit AK and probably stay all day

love Rafiki’s Planet a Watch. The petting zoo alone is good for an hour and a half

It has grown on us over the years. Y & Y is actually our fave restaurant (lettuce cups, pot stickers, etc.)
Never tire of Lion King or Nemo.
Big fan of street music: Tam Tam Drummers, Chakranadi, & saw the awesome Paraguayan harp player an evening in April.
Safari is a nice sit down on hot afternoon. Air conditioned Tough Bug & Dinosaur.
Did a Backstage Safari with friends and enjoyed seeing animal conservation & care Diz style + it did not
ruin the magic for me since we walked back ‘on stage’.
Nomad Lounge & Tiffins are awfully good.

I can’t stand petting zoos in general, but the rest of Rafiki’s is one of my favorites

One thing that definitely tends to tip me over the edge is when one calls Animal Kingdom a “half-day” park. I wonder why people claim this and personally think it’s currently a three fourths day park but I’d definitely like to understand other’s thoughts on how much time and why you spend that time at Animal Kingdom.

Because when the park first opened, and the animal go to bed, it pretty much was done for the day. We always did park hopper and went to the Magic Kingdom in the evening after eating at Boma

This year, it will be an all day park
