How Did You Find D-CoT?

I was banned from another Disney board. They were trashing parents of gifted children and I spoke up. Apparently trashing people was allowed and I was the one out of line.

Kudos to you for speaking up! That’s simply unacceptable that they would allow that, but not your defense.

Speaking up has never been a problem for me. Shutting up….. weeeeeeeeelllllllllll

I listened to several other Disney music sites but kept looking for one where I could choose what was played.
Found D-Cot in 2009 and really never went back to the other sites.

A Disney College Program Youtuber (Maryelizabeth DCP) mentioned it in a video. Once I joined, I knew this was the place for me. I am a college student and this is my go-to homework and study music. I absolutely love it!

Subsonic Radio….Steve was a listener there. We started talking and he invited me to check out a site he was building. it was pathetic.(LOL) had like one picture of a park map and no music. he promised me it was going to be cool! I believe I was the 4th member to join. He delivered on his promise. I now only go back to see if some of the posts/games i made on Subsonic are still going. this is the best site overall! Thanks for the invite (almost 9 years ago? is that right???)

Like Rocketear99, I found dcot through disboards. And like Rocketear99, I soon left that site for this one.

Took me about a year after my initial sign up to start listening to music on here more regularly and to really become active on the site. At first I just stalked.

Especially in chat. Yes, I was a chat stalker. But one day I decided to jump into the conversation and there was just no turning back!
