Heather/Dopey Challenge – 1/4/18-1/10/18 – Day 1 and 2

@warrsm I completely agree! This community has very real and genuine people on it! I love it so much! We truly care about each other! I’m so glad you’ve been able to be more active on here lately! Of course, you are more active now and life has been so crazy busy that I can’t get on and socialize like I used to. I hope to be able to pop on here more!

@nascfan I think we almost killed Teri and Kailey in that standby line too!! They were going down fast! Yep, I try to find the positive with those early wake ups! I will say that there really is nothing like being on a run in the parks and watching the sun make its appearance for the day! I welcomed the sun during the Dopey races. Dark Side, not so much! It was so stinking hot in the dark!! Then the sun came up!

Dropping like flies!!! Or completely exhausted folks. One of the two!! Why couldn’t DARK SIDE have been DARK out??

They could switch it to a night race! They used to do the Wine & Dine at like 10pm! However, I don’t think I would have the energy to run at night. Eh, it’s just sleep!! What’s the difference in getting up at 1:30 or 2:30am?!

I don’t think there are many people who can say they’ve planned a trip around one specific person. You’re one who can, which to me, is an accomplishment!
I remember how cold that week was. Not fun. Especially for someone to run in. Or swim in!
I also recall the Earth shaked for a bit in the morning. I’m guessing it was from the intensity of the hug!
Aren’t the parks so much better with friends?!? And you got to experience it with the BESTEST friend!
So….for the Dole Whip…were you really too tired to chew or was it just too cold to be able to consume an ice cream and you convinced your mind otherwise???

Ice cream would not be good to have in below zero temps. Take that.

Oh my gosh, I seriously teared up reading this part of your trip report! It is so amazing to me that you and Kathy planned a whole trip to support Heather and Ryan, but it’s not surprising at all because that’s just how awesome you are!! And the posts asking if you and Heather and me were really related…well, that just says it all right there, doesn’t it? Just add in @SEJ101 and we’re family through and through!

@eeyorpoohfan I think they used to have something at night at Animal Kingdom too? By the time I knew about it and wanted to sign up, they had taken it away!!

@laprana seriously don’t know what I would do without all of you! Keeps me smiling all day!! Just wish we all lived closer, so we could get together whenever we wanted!
