@nascfan I’m not sure, but that would be terrific to see him included in some form. He’s been our nighttime narrator for 14+ years

I think he’s still at Animal Kingdom, Conservation Station?
I know he was, then he wasn’t. But he was again some this week with Easter crowds. So maybe he is only around when Stitch’s Great Escape is open!

I think it would be too. It would be a great transition from the old to the new and paying homage to the roots.
May 3, 2017 at 1:08 pm #25439The concept for this show has slowly won me over and if these tests are anything like the show is going to be, look out! It should be spectacular!
May 8, 2017 at 8:31 am #26191After thinking this entire fireworks plan through, it seems like a step BACK. If you recall, the Monorail resorts have a surplus of “Dinner parties” where you travel around a resort or spend time on a boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon or even dine at the California Grill. Projections can be hard to see, and these “parties” cost hundreds of dollars per person. Disney has extended the dates for the parties but I have a feeling people are going to feel ripped-off. I don’t think this is gonna work. :hmmph:

I wonder if there will be fewer fireworks with this new show that appears to focus on the projection mapping on the castle.
If that was the goal to save some money on fireworks by making us (or the few with a close up unobstructed view) watch projections on the castle, then it is a bad idea.
We will find out later this week.
May 12, 2017 at 8:36 pm #26950I just watched the Disney Parks Blog live stream of Happily Ever After …. And I literally don’t think I’ll ever hear anyone say ANYTHING bad about this new show.
WOW!!!
It was incredible, and I’m so upset I have to wait until September to watch it in person.
I absolutely loved every single second of it!!! I cried not once, but twice!!! All the feels!!! Spectacular theme song, tons of Disney songs, awesome graphics, lasers, characters galore, and tons of amaaaaaaazing fireworks!
Way to go Disney!!! I’m already a fan of Happily Ever After

bpellinen292 XPSo happy they kept Tinkerbelle!! I was a little concerned when she didn’t fly right away in the beginning, but when she did, it fit perfectly with the music!

StupidJudy71 XPHappy to hear the new show is great! Phew!
I’m going to wait to see it live for full effect but the short clips I’ve seen on FB looked really interesting!

I’ve never seen anything like it before in my life, it was beyond my expectations even just on my laptop! Seeing in in person is going to be sensory overload!!!
May 17, 2017 at 8:47 pm #27838I just watched Happily Ever After and my initial reaction… WOW! As special as Wishes is and will forever be in my heart, this is a great replacement! The projections, the fireworks, some looking like they were shot directly out of the castle, the music, so good! @Acamm I’m certain I will be weeping when I see it in person! from me!

Sounds like it’s going to be great! :mickey: I’m very happy to hear that. Thanks for the review. I’ll have to watch it soon.
May 19, 2017 at 3:05 pm #28210@disneybug, do yourself a favor and watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7FFFENv6i4
Disney Parks did a cruddy job with their video. Too many cutaway shots. This one is straight on and doesn’t waver.
