Anyone ever had gifts sent to their WDW resort (happening to go over both Father’s Day and our anniversary this year)? If so, did you use Disney Floral and Gifts or something else? What was your experience?

I asked my Magic Maker to help. She came through for me.

I’ve never had anything delivered to me, but I have delivered things from them to my friends at a Disney resort. They loved it.

I have used Disney Floral and Gifts on multiple occasions. They offer a beautiful selection and is well worth the money. They work with you to set it up in your room when you have left for the day. We have done both the “Welcome Home” Disney Vacation Club offering, Create a Gift, and the Halloween surprise. It is a little pricy, but well worth the $$ spent.

I did once. Think I used memories by Betsy. It was so long ago!
I would use her again. Basket was a WDW duffle bag. It was all put together nicely.

My daughter used them to send us a welcome basket when we went in December. I hate to complain but it was supposed to be there when we checked in and it was not ready until after we got back to the room at 9:00 that night and I had to go get it. My daughter was very disappointed. Now the basket itself was fantastic, just the delivery was not what she felt like she had paid for.

I sent one to my mom a couple times. Both times the items were great and she was tickled to get it but i agree with @disneyfan1966 they stretch the truth when they say it is delivered to the room. BOTH times i used it she had to go to the main desk to get it. Hardly a surprise or nearly as convenient if she gets a call and has to go all the way down to the lobby to pick it up. a bit on the side of “false advertising” in my opinion

We received a wonderful Disney cooler/bag full of snacks and goodies one year from a group of friends. They gave it to us at check-in at the front desk. Loved it!

You get me @jamiedawn27! The gift was wonderful but the best part for my daughter was the surprise factor – she called after we checked in and asked if we had had any pixie dust sprinkled on us and I was like…. ummm… no? The gift was a thank you for her wedding and that was the only downer to the gift – she was so excited to surprise us with it and when she had to explain it took the magic out of it for her. I was still thrilled with it – a bottle of wine, 2 pretty mickey glasses, a beautiful castle tray and multicolored popcorn wrapped in an awesome cellophane cover. So my only advice is not to expect it to be a surprise for the receiver, just enjoy giving the gift! :)
