@Grumpytude They really would! As CMs, they give us a free set of tickets every once in a while that aren’t blocked out, but I feel like they’ll be blocked this coming summer
i’m actually annoyed about the opening dates! i thought it was opening in the fall, but i should’ve known disney fall is not the same as real world fall
me and my friend had a trip planned the week it opens so now we’re rescheduling it to the week beforehand, because neither of us care about star wars and we don’t want to do deal with the crowds 
@julia If it were me and I had that flexibility, I would do the same. Maybe they were being cautious so they could avoid potentially having to announce a delay in opening
@starbee yeah that’s what i was thinking! in hinds site, a big clue it was opening early was that the summer fun and play package or whatever ends the week it opens

Arrrrggggghhh!! I’m excited for this but was SO hoping it would be opening at WDW after my Thanksgiving trip!
I have no desire to be in the ensuing chaos that soon after it opens!!

I was there a few days after Pandora opened and it was just pure insanity. I’ve never seen the parks that crowded before or since, and not just Pandora, but every part of WDW! I can’t even begin to imagine what it will be like after Star Wars Land opens!! @laprana I’m already thinking this was a mistake
but I’m hoping they’ll just gravitate toward SW Land and leave the rest of WDW alone 
Ohhh I hope you’re right!! Maybe it’ll take them so long to get into the land that they won’t want to leave and they just stay there and not venture out to the other parks!
Now to just plan a final visit before we’re blocked out for all eternity…
I feel your pain
The Camm’s are GOING TO THE OPENING WEEKEND OF STAR WARS LAND !!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!! We booked our trip months ago…. and its the same week as the opening! Unlike most of you… we don’t care about the crowds! We have done WDW Christmas week twice, and have been to Pandora the opening month also! It doesn’t bother us one bit. We ropedrop and late night… and we use FP’s . We are way more concerned with relaxing by the pool all afternoon and enjoying our vacation than worrying about the crowds at DHS. We will go check it out with FP’s for SURE…. but we aren’t waiting in any lines. We will report back to you guys … and maybe even do some FB Live’s for y’all!

I remember your Christmas and Pandora trips, you should be well prepared to battle the crowds! Have fun!
