I can’t seem to find an answer to this online, maybe some of y’all who have been to F&W this year can answer my question. Now that Disney has banned plastic straws, does that mean they’re no longer providing plastic silverware during F&W? I’m wondering if I’ll need to bring my own? Numerous dishes would be impossible to eat without silverware

They’re still giving out the plastic silverware. Like you said, some dishes would be impossible to eat. :)

Thanks! I think it would be really stupid not to, but I wanted to make sure after the removal of the shopping sacks and straws. I plan on bringing my own plastic straws to F&W

It would be quite entertaining to watch people try to eat the dishes without them LOL Good question though.

I honestly wouldn’t put it past Disney at this point. It would be a way to strong-arm people into buying the reusable silverware they’re selling at the festival.

i think the plastic utensils might be biodegradable?? idk though. also amazon has a ton of reusable straws if you want to go that route instead of bringing plastic straws! although they might be a pain in the you know what to clean….

I’ve seen those but I don’t realistically see myself cleaning them on vacation. But also, I’m kind of a germaphobe and reusable straws don’t sound sanitary to me. There are some things I think should be one and done.

@starbee i feel that, unless you’re getting a good brusher with it, they’re impossible to clean. but again, who wants to have to keep running to the bathroom to clean their straw when they’re on vacation? :P
