bexruns374 XPA conversation that comes up with my daughters a lot (especially when we’re at the parks) is which is your favorite Disney character and why?
So I turn to you, my fellow D-Cotters….who is your favorite Disney princess and why have you chosen them?
Mine is Tiana. I love her hard working and never give up attitude. And she doesn’t just look for the first person who can help her and doesn’t fall for Prince Naveen immediately.
May 1, 2017 at 12:06 pm #24898My favorite Princess is Ariel, she wants to be part of her world. With Prince Eric and sometimes see her father King Triton plus flounder too.
May 1, 2017 at 12:36 pm #24905My favorite is probably Rapunzel. I like her skills with a cast iron frying pan.
May 1, 2017 at 12:46 pm #24908Growing up, my favorite princess was always Ariel really superficial reason, but I was not comfortable with my red hair as a child. Ariel has red hair and she is pretty, a good singer, and she had many friends, she was a positive light and always my favorite. My second favorite princess was Pocahontas because she looked after animals and I’m an animal lover.
The Princess and the Frog wasn’t released until I was an adult, but I also love Tiana for the same reasons already mentioned. She’s hard working and a real inspiration to keep trying and never give up. She’s very headstrong, confident and independent and I love that!
May 1, 2017 at 12:55 pm #24909Growing up my favorite was Ariel, I wanted to be her so bad!!
I think now my favorite princess is Belle, her love of reading, her desire to protect her family, and her refusal to do what’s expected of her if it’s not what she wants, those are the reasons I love her so much
May 1, 2017 at 1:13 pm #24912I’m a Merida girl. She’s tough, smart and BRAVE and loves her family fiercely. Of course she reminds me of my daughter who is so hard headed she would totally turn me into a bear without thinking twice about it. Although i’m sure she would apologize later.

May 1, 2017 at 1:18 pm #24914Can I say I like them all evenly? :|

RIDisneyPinGuy182 XP@nascfan I don’t think your pic was ever in question.
I am another Ariel fan… gotta be the hair :p
Anna is a close second. I like she’s a bit different personality wise, and her eyes are just really welcoming and friendly. She seems like the type that could be friends with anyone she meets.
Belle comes in 3rd, based solely on my princess’ first trip to the world. She had a truly magical experience with Belle, and was so comfortable, she went and sat on Belles lap (walked right over, turned, and sat…caught all of us by surprise).

bexruns374 XPI see a lot of myself in Anna but Tiana is who I would strive to be, if that makes sense?
May 1, 2017 at 1:42 pm #24921@RIDisneyPinGuy do you watch Once Upon a Time? they NAILED the Anna character…adorable, quirky and fun. the casting was perfect.
May 1, 2017 at 1:55 pm #24925Cinderella has always been my favorite. She is a blonde and so am I. When I was little my daddy used to dance me around the living room when Cinderella danced with Prince Charming. I loved that. Cinderella never loses hope which I think is so important in life. “No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.” Also, she loves animals and so do I.

May 1, 2017 at 2:11 pm #24928My favorite Disney Princess is Pocahontas and has been since the movie came out. Being of Native American heritage, the story of Pocahontas is one of my favorite tales. While I know that Disney butchered the true story of Pocahontas, I really love the movie that they made to tell about a small portion of her life.
She also has the coolest pet Racoon… I mean… how could you NOT love her?

Makes total sense! Maybe we need another thread, “Which Disney Princess are you most like?” I identify a lot with Moana. Her parents always told her what she should be and what she shouldn’t do, but her heart wasn’t in the role that was chosen for her. She didn’t want to disrespect her parents, but she knew her calling and went for it.
