Yeah @starbee you better be up I. Front of that pic early! Also, go to AK later in the week.
I’ll be up, at 6am on my weekend thanks for changing the times to my detriment Disney! I’ve already made my AK plans and I can’t change them now because I won’t get replacement ADRs. Fingers crossed.
@Acamm Sorry you had these issues with your FP+ selectionsJuly 4, 2017 at 5:48 pm #36808Remember that article about FP cheaters, that might be still happening. Don’t give up, I am sure you will be able to get them! Try getting a FP slot for one or two and modify it later, sometimes Guest Services can help you with that. Last trip I had FPs for the boys and I and our friends met us for the day and we were able to visit GS and have them tacked onto all of ours.
Yes! I remember that article about the FP cheaters. I’m glad that they are putting an end to that shady business.
Luckily I was able to get FoP FP for our last day, and we are totally going to try and Rope Drop it in Standby earlier in the week. Crossing fingers our plan works
July 4, 2017 at 6:03 pm #36809@grumpytude Yep, its the slow time of the year, which is why we pick the same week every year Last year we had the same problem with Frozen Ever After FP’s, but I didn’t experience any completely sold out dates like for Flight of Passage.
@Breesmommy5 You’re so right, this is EXACTLY like trying to book a Be Our Guest dinner! :p Omgosh, so frustrating! :|
@jamiedawn27 that is SUCH PERFECT advice… I was so lucky to get FoP FP for our last day! I’m still gonna try to Rope Drop it in standby the first day though. We’re total Rope Drop Ninjas!!
@starbee I agree… the fact that September 3rd is totally booked up is surprising to me. I really do hope that you have better luck when you make your FP’s!
@85glht Thank you so much… I plan on refreshing MDE every .06 seconds to hopefully get some discarded FoP FP’s for Sept 3rd! Ninja mode has been turned on
@nascfan Thanks bud … I’m pretty satisfied with our FP selections. They will fit in perfectly with the other attractions that we plan to go on. Hopefully the plan worksJuly 4, 2017 at 6:04 pm #36810Yeah @starbee you better be up I. Front of that pic early! I feel your pain of having to get up at 6am on the weekend. I had to get up at 6:30am to be at my laptop at 7:00am with my coffee… on my DAY OFF of the 4th of July Ugh
July 4, 2017 at 7:23 pm #36812@Acamm You are a ninja!
July 5, 2017 at 6:59 am #36843@jamiedawn27 … I try
July 5, 2017 at 7:24 am #36850Keep checking! Don’t get discouraged, I’m going to guess that you’re a little like me when it comes to this stuff. If there’s a FP+ or an ADR I can’t get, it becomes a game to me, and I will get it. You just gotta keep checking, especially once you’re there. People change plans ALL. THE. TIME. and drop FP+ last minute. Also, check back frequently around the 31 day mark, I think that’s the last day someone can cancel their vacation package without penalty.
Definitely keep on trying to split up the FP+, do 3 singles, do a 2 and a 1, those kinds of things work. That’s how we’ve been able to get a 7DMT or a TSMM FP+ on the ride down to Disney

Game On! Yep, I’m checking every couple of hours. There is still nothing available for that day at all… this is the specific message: “There are no more FastPass+ times for this experience, but standby may be available”. Such a bummer.
BUT…. you have given me hope !!

I don’t understand this, you get 3 singles for the same time slot? I haven’t had enough coffee this morning, brain is slow.
July 5, 2017 at 7:54 am #36863@StupidJudy, not exactly the same time slot but close. They have a certain number, or “lot” of FP’s for a certain time. While there may not be four left at 9:00-10:00 for example, there might be two left. Then there might be one left for 9:10-10:10 and one left for 9:15-10:15. You pick those four up and all ride together anytime between 9:15 and 10:00 when all four of the times overlap. Does that help?

StupidJudy71 XPAhhhh, I get it now. Thanks!!

I didn’t understand this either and had to have Nascfan explain it to me last week :p
July 5, 2017 at 8:56 am #36882I will say we find that FPs and Dining Reservation times do not book up quite as fast in the Summer months – more people, less planning. So we could have gotten FoP if we wanted it. Scored everything else we wanted no problem!
July 5, 2017 at 6:42 pm #37004There are always fastpasses – it just depends how long you are willing to click the button
