@starbee I just pulled up the Proof of Time information! You have until October 9th to submit a proof of time. Though their guidelines say submit by 10/9/18. I think they are still updating everything for next years race. That would be the submission date for those that just did Marathon weekend this year. But it will be close to that date for sure. So you need to run a chip timed half marathon before that date. My suggestion is that if for some reason you don’t complete your half marathon in less than 2 hours 45 minutes (you only need to submit proof of time and proof of a race finish in that time if you finish under 2:45), I suggest putting 2:45 as your projected half marathon finish time. This SHOULD put you in the first of the last two corrals with no proof of time. Here is the information from RunDisney:
    https://www.rundisney.com/events/disneyworld/disneyworld-marathon-weekend/events/challenges/
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Proof of Time Guidelines. It tells you exactly what you will need to do for POT. You can register for Dopey and not submit a POT at that time. Leave it blank. If it doesn’t let you leave it blank, just enter 2:45 for now. You can go back into your registration later and add an updated POT! I would enter 2:45 so that no matter what, you entered something and don’t forget later! But you absolutely MUST enter your POT with a link to your finish results before the deadline date. The link I sent you also has a lot of the info you will need initially for the race weekend as well!

You are awesome!!! Thank you for the info! It’s proving really difficult for me to find a half in that time frame that doesn’t conflict with drill weekend :(

You’re welcome! Have no fear if you can’t find a race to work in your schedule! If that’s the case, just put a 2:45 half estimated finish. Even if you ended up in the last corral, you still have a buffer from the sweepers. You could easily finish with plenty of buffer! There are also pacer groups within each corral, usually 2. They will have a flag with their finish time and their run/walk interval on it. So you can easily join one of those in your corral if you feel you need the push to keep a pace. I still say run and enjoy your race and scenery! But a lot of the pacers in the back corrals have simple intervals of 30:30 meaning 30 second run 30 second walk. Some are 60:30, 15:45, etc! I promise that you can have a fun and low stress run from any corral! And if you end up in one of the last corrals, just get as far toward in that corral as you can that day. You could end up starting 10-20 minutes ahead of the 16 min/mile pacers, giving yourself a bigger buffer!
