This may be a hugely unpopular opinion, but judging by some of the other comments maybe not. I am so sick of them! Like starbee said, they’re nothing but a cash grab in my opinion, and I refuse to watch any more of them. I’m not talking about movies like Christopher Robin or Mary Poppins Returns or the Toy Story franchise, those are more like chapters that advance a story. But this constant rehashing, just remaking every animated movie ever done is ridiculous! And live action? Hardly! Try CGI computer programmed. Jungle Book had what, one live actor? And Lion King will have none? Forget it! Come on Disney you have too much talent in those halls and offices to waste it like that! Come up with an original idea for Pete’s sake! Until then, I’ll be over here not watching any more of the remakes and saving money. Call me when you come up with a new idea.
((Steps off soapbox, leaves it for the next person))April 24, 2019 at 8:35 pm #108282The Jungle Book was just a kid in a diaper roaming around a blue walled sound stage.
These are the facts

Disneydana12 XPi’m most excited for the ones that aren’t even in production yet! hunchback of notre dame and the little mermaid! it’ll be really interesting to see how they film the underwater scenes in the latter
I’m guessing it will look a lot like how they did it in Aquaman. It will be interesting for sure.

Disneydana12 XPIve seen Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast
I enjoyed Jungle Book. B&tB was horrid. She couldn’t act in Harry Potter, and she still cannot act now that she is grown up.As a HUGE Harry Potter fan I totally agree that she couldn’t act in that, but I did like her in Beauty and the Beast. I just enjoyed the whole movie. You’re the only person I’ve ever met that agrees with me on the HP thing. It didn’t help that I absolutely HATED the character of Hermione in the first place. I think we’ve all had that one friend in our lives that talks to you like a dog but if you do it back to them they completely fall to pieces like you’re the worst person in the world. As I read the books I kept thinking, there is no way these two dudes would ever hang out with this girl. She’s a huge a-hole! lol I can’t stand a person that constantly talks down to you and rolls their eyes like everything you say is stupid but yet they keep coming around and think you’re close friends. I’ve known far too many people like that and she portrayed that perfectly. Wait…maybe she’s a better actor than we think? lol I just think she is probably a lot like that in real life. She gives me the impression that she thinks she’s better than others. I hate the fact that she thinks she’s so above the Harry Potter stuff these days and won’t have anything to do with it….because you know, she’s gone on to become a massive movie star now. lol

Disneydana12 XPI wouldn’t mind seeing Mulan because that’s my favorite, but I agree with everyone saying that it’s just a cash grab. I don’t understand why they’re doing it with everything. Maybe I’m out of the loop but it doesn’t seem like anything other than Beauty and the Beast was much of a hit. I didn’t even know they did Cinderella and vaguely heard about The Jungle Book. I just don’t get it.

I haven’t seen BatB and probably won’t, but your comment on her bad acting is so true! Terrible casting!
