Disney Vacation 2018

My girlfriend and I were watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
the other night and I made a comment about how a lot of the scenes are direct inspiration from the ride. She looks at me and says, “What?” I said, “the ride at Disneyland / Disney World.” She says…”What ride?” I paused the movie and just looked at her. I was confused at this since she’s admitted to being at Disney World before (and recently in the last few years). Turns out..she spent most of her time at Universal and barely went to the Disney parks. So I told her that she needs a REAL Disney vacation experience. We watched the 2017 Vacation Planning video to help her understand all the amazingness that Disney has to offer. Tho she was completely overwhelmed when it finished, she and I agreed on a date. October 2018.
I NEED SOME HELP / ADVICE. We have the dates picked out…but what now? When is a good time to stat calling and making reservations? How do we get a good idea and estimate of how much it will cost? We’ll be saving up monthly to pay for it all but with no approx cost in mind, we’ll be kindof lost. I need some help from all you Disney lovers!
