    My friends and I are planning on meeting for dinner when we get into the area on our upcoming trip starting Aug 11th. An option we’re considering is eating at a quick service location in Disney Springs. It has been over 2 years since I was there so I’m rather out of touch with what’s good.

    So if you were looking for a good meal at a Quick Service in Disney Springs, where would you go?

    I’ve heard that and that the Boathouse was worth every dollar too.

    I would go to Earl of Sandwich. Without hesitation. Bear in mind I can only go off Downtown Disney quick service, haven’t been since they’ve expanded and changed to Springs. But I still wouldn’t hesitate to go there.

    I’m gonna pull out my map… :map:

    The Polite Pig has decent BBQ, but you can get better BBQ in Florida (as in Sonny’s)

    I had a really traumatizing experience at D-Luxe Burger, so I advise you stay away from there.

    Just go to Earl of Sandwhich or Polite Pig. :|

    Up until our last trip I would 100% agree, but I may have to retort this now…

    Our last trip there, we noticed the servings were about half the size, with a significant increase in cost. They forgot our dessert, after two reminders, still had to wait well after our entree was finished, and finally was brought out a still-frozen slice of cheesecake.

    I will say it is still a good value for a DDP QS, but I would not recommend for cash-paying guests.
    The bacon meatloaf is delicious.

    I’ll put my vote in for Wolfgang Puck Express, too! It’s fantastic. They have a good variety on their menu that’s much more than sandwiches or burgers and fries. Their flatbreads and salads are excellent, and so is the mac ‘n cheese! :)

    @RIDisneyPinGuy Ooohhh yeah that would be a turn off to me as well if I had that experience.

    Another quick service in Disney Springs that I’ve heard amazing things about is D-Luxe Burger. Apparently they have awesome dipping sauces for their fries! We plan to check it out next month :)

    Heres the menu: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/disney-springs/d-luxe-burger/menus/

    I’ve had two awesome meals to one that was just okay, so believe me the place is far from a write-off IMO. Also, sadly many WDW dining options are on a downward trend in recent experiences. The food is still good and one of the better options for DTD. But, it is better as a DDP location than cash for getting your money’s worth, I feel.

    @nascfan – We went to Earl of Sandwich once back in 2013 and it was very good, so we’ll keep that in mind :)

    @laprana
    @acamm @ridisneypinguy Thanks for the info on Wolfgang Puck express! I’ll look deeper into that one.

    @sej101
    – I’ll look more into Polite Pig as well :up:

    Odds are with the options given, D-Luxe Burger may be toward the bottom of our list thus far.

    Having had good southern bbq, I can understand fully why this would be the case :)

    The Polite Pig opened on my birthday, in that case it’s my favorite place to eat. On the other hand Frontera Cocina is another suggestion besides doing a reservation you can take out to the To-Go Window.
