I always thought that too, especially when they would slow me down like none other in the bag check line! But I guess if you have small kids you need a lot: extra clothes, maybe swimwear for the water play areas, diapers, snacks, sunscreen… my brother used to bring a big backpack filled with camera equipment but Disney’s getting weird about that stuff sometimes now.
