Hello D-COT!
I’m looking into putting together a special event/meet-up for us next year in October. I already started discussions with Disney Catered Events and received information regarding packages and pricing. This is what I have so far:
When:
Saturday, October 5, 2019 or Saturday, October 12, 2019 or Saturday, October 19, 2019Type:
Reception/Dessert StyleWhere:
The location will depend on the date chosen. I am leaning towards an Epcot Resort so that after the reception/dessert we can mosey on over to Epcot to see the new nighttime show, Epcot Forever, if it’s running. In order for me to get a better idea on what the cost per ticket will be, please choose an option in this poll with your best answer. If there is not enough interest, we might not be able to host the event.

November 28, 2018 at 11:05 am #95885I鈥檓 not sure I can attend in October. However, can I suggest not having it on October 12th? The crowds were crazy high all of Columbus week this year.
November 28, 2018 at 11:41 am #95888Not that I’ll be there but I echo Heather. It’s the same for the WC park. And make sure there are no runDisney events going on any of those weekends either because the crowds are pretty insane.
November 28, 2018 at 1:19 pm #95908OOOhhh I haven’t been in the fall for a while. If this gets scheduled I will really try to meet!!
November 29, 2018 at 9:35 am #95978Chalk me down as “most likely”. Other than that, I agree with @eeyorepoohfan
The October 12th timeframe is pretty bad for crowds and brutal with travel expenses. The 5th or 19th will work better for me (and maybe Christy if she can swing down too).
November 29, 2018 at 1:07 pm #96015It would depend, we really wanted to go for Christmas but if a bunch of people go I might change it
November 30, 2018 at 12:25 pm #96085I would be interested but cannot commit…. yet…
Maybe a third option on the poll
Interested but cannot commit yet.

Interested but cannot commit yet.I second this. My conditions are not always favorable…

I need to keep it yes/no. Having people “on the fence” doesn’t really give me a good idea. This first-round poll is for a general idea. If I decide to set it up with Disney, tickets will be put on sale.
December 4, 2018 at 4:01 pm #96480I would love to attend this one. It just depends on the week. We are at the beach the first week of October every year.
December 4, 2018 at 4:33 pm #96491October 5 or 12 would be better for me. I have an event here local on the 19th.

December 4, 2018 at 10:48 pm #96624The Camm’s can nail it down this year as we are currently in talks to book our ONLY WDW vacation for 2019. We were planning on September, but if early October, we could swing that too.
December 15, 2018 at 10:53 am #97251I could do the 12th or the 19th, but I would not be able to go on the 5th because of drill
December 15, 2018 at 11:08 am #97253My son and I currently have a trip booked for 10/16-10/20. So, the 19th would work well for us at this point.
December 31, 2018 at 9:53 pm #98628if I get this new job, and it contains the 20% raise, my odds increase
